This film converted me to a Catholic, now I pray the Rosary everyday. I hv never felt this better in my whole life.

I watched the movie last night all by myself for the first time, and somehow towards the end of the film when the 3 children were praying for a miracle so everyone can believe, I started crying for pure 10 min. I do not know why, but all my daily struggles were flashing in my mind and then I felt peace. It is very rare for me to show such emotion from a film, but I cried as I felt I was there, witnessing something. Very powerful movie and yes I believe.

What I love being a Catholic: I have a Father in heaven, I have Jesus as my brother and Savior, I have the Holy Spirit as my guide and finally, I have the Blessed Virgin as my mother! 🙏🙏🙏

Our family watched this a week ago...we were all in awe. I love how the film wasn't too much, the significant parts were all highlighted--- the apparitions and especially, our Lady's message to the world. 💐✨🥺 Oh, the children when they shouted, "Ave...Maria!" 😭💕

My Grandma used to tell me their story always bevor bed when I was little ... I loved hearing it ❤️ ... to this day it’s my favorite reminder what it means to have true faith ❤️

I CAME HERE because I thought it's a movie about islam, because the name of Prophet Mohammed's daughter ( may peace be upon him ) is " FATIMA AZZAHRA " so this name or just "FATIMA" only is a very sacred name for muslims. ALSO the name " MERYEM" after " MARY THE VIRGIN " the mother of Prophet Juses ( may peace be upon him ) is also very sacred ( and it's my favourite name tbh ) MAY ALL THE PEACE AND STILLNESS FALL UPON ALL CHRISIANS, MUSLIMS, JEW AND ALL HUMANITY. Just in case you were wondering the film's release isn't until August now due to COVID-19. It is coming out the day before the feast of the assumption (as well as the fact that August is an important month for the Blessed Mother). I will be seeing this movie.

Wow Our Lady of Fatima Appeared in 1917 a year before the Spanish Flu Pandemic. This movie was completely filmed in October 2018 one year before the first Covid 19 case and the start of this current pandemic. 🤯🙏🙏🙏

Being a portuguese girl, is really cool that someone took their time to try and give life to such a beautiful story. I grew up listening to this and a lot of legends and tales in Portugal are based on this story. Plus, is really cool to watch talented portuguese actors playing important roles in this movie. I can´t say I am catholic since I don´t believe in a lot of things the bible or church says or defends, but I have faith that there is something bigger than us, and a lot of things that humans fail to comprehend. "Faith begins on the edge of understanding" is a really powerful line. Really pumped to watch this! Btw, for the ones who don´t know why the movie is called "Fatima", is because the sighting of Maria was in the city of Fátima which is a very religious city because of that.

Everytime when i looked back to the time i got depression and wanted to take my own life i am shaken...thank God and mother Maria for saving my life.... i still remembered that day...i planned everything for my death...then i went to church to ask my Lord for forgiveness...i cried my eyes out like a baby....i told him that i did not want him to save me or change me...just forgive me for what i was about to do...i went home and kept crying and praying...i was going to kill my self the day after. But things changed. They saved me. I have been in depression for many years. I thought of killing myself millions times. But they are always by myself and save me. I m 31 years old now and quite happy with mylife. Thank God and Mother Maria...

I can hardly believe my eyes...I'm catholic and all throughout my childhood I recall this story being told me over and over again to strengthen my faith in Mother Mary.. It inspired me every time and seeing this makes me so happy I could cry. I live abroad now and was starting to lose touch with my Catholic roots but this makes me exited to get back into it

Our lady told Francisco and Jacinta that they would join her soon and Jacinta would suffer a lot, die alone and then she would get her. The three shepherds would sacrifice themselves for sinners by doing things such as fasting. With 10 years old Francisco died in 1919 catching the Spanish Pneumonia that killed 75m people in 1918. He would just say: “don’t worry I’m joining our lady very soon.” One year after Jacinta entered the hospital with an open wound on her chest, already very weakened after more then a year with the infection. The surgeon Castro Freire operated her by taking her two ribs without anesthetic in an attempt to save her. At that time, there was no general anesthesia and she was just "stunned" with a little ether. In his notes, the doctor wrote: "I was so impressed with this girl, any other child would have screamed, kicked but she would just say “Oh my Jesus. Oh my Our lady.” After eighteen days of agony with 9 years old Jacinta died in the year of 1920. Her body was left intact and smelled like flowers. “The girl smelled like flowers”, as the hospital D.Estefânia director would later say. She had asked not to be buried underground, so she was taken to her family's deposit in Ourém.Three decades later, when the body was moved to the Fatima basilica on May 1st, 1951, it would still remain uncorrupted, other thing that science could never explain.

Theres something about this movie that is incredibly powerful. While yes to all of the faith aspects that are deeply rooted into the narrative, this movie, at least from the trailer, this has a real attention to portray a complex story with multiple themes while offering an audience a time for emotional catharsis while watching. I'm honestly pretty excited to find a time with this eventually ever since There Be Dragons which focuses on the life of St. Josemaria Escrivá

I have read about this and I remember being in awe that these kids had so much unshakable faith. I am looking forward to seeing this. I think it is no coincidence that movies come out like this in times when our faith is being tested. I def feel like this movie will give hope and inspire people.

I visited Fatima and when I saw the people fulfilling their pilgrimage there, it gave me goosebumps! I will definitely not miss this movie! And Portugal is such a mesmerizing country overall! I've tested the BEST seafood and sangria there! Their white sangria and vinho verde are absolutely d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!!! The Portuguese people are so full of life, knowing how to enjoy the life to the fullest! Oh, good old days :(( If only I could go there again and get all the corners of that beautiful country visited! :((( Um grande abraço de Istambul!

For all those who are confused . Fatima is a name of a town in Portugal. That's why the movie is called "Fatima." It's not the name of the girl who played in the movie . God bless.

My family is from Portugal and this story is very much 100% real and has now been passed down. It happened back in 1917 where she visited the three children three times that year. The last time she appeared to them, it marked an event called "the miracle of the sun" in which she performed a miracle to make non believers, believers that day. She is a staple in our religion and society and is very much loved and celebrated even to today. We call her Our Lady of Fatima (Nossa Senhora de Fátima). I'm so happy this movie is being made and shining light to the story. I cannot wait to watch it and see how true to the story they stay.

When she walked on her knees into the evening and her father prayed with her, that moment of bonding made me truly understand the bonds between a daughter and father s father but with 2 son's and no daughters, they are fortunate to have the kind of relationship they had. I had tear when i saw that part of the movie...and my only explanation that i could have is how it effected me in my heart and i was jealous...even as a father of son's i wish i had a daughter as well with the same fortitude and courage this little girl has just as sure as all little girls do today. As a old man now its past my time and as fortunate to have to healthy son's... daughter would have been a blessing as well.

When people light up there candle and raise it... When the people start singing Ave Maria... You will be fulfilled with Peace, Joy even if you are crying... Before my mother had me she asked our Lady of Fatima for a child, and she said to our Lady "Please Mother, let me have a child it doesent matter if it's a boy or a girl, I will love them anyways" after that she got pregnant with me, mi mother though about nameing me Fatima (I don't know about USA, but here in México is very comon to name your children after a saint or a devotion if the parents entrusted his life to them before they were born) but at the moment of choosing my name she had a very strong feeling in her hart that she should name me Luz, after Our lady of la Luz, she's patron saint of the city where I live and I always pray to her on her day.

This trailer got me in tears, I'm actually reading the book by William Thomas Walsh "Our Lady of Fatima"; this couldn't come out on a better time.

I was told the story of the miracle of Fatima from a very young age. It's one of my favorite stories. As a kid and as an adult, it's showed me that it's one thing to say that you believe but another to act on that faith. I also love how this comment section is filled with prayer and words of faith. It gives me more hope for this world, even with the current circumstances. It gives me hope to know that there are people out there who believe in the word and power of God, who act upon it and continue to ask him for help and guidance. People who still pray. Prayer is a powerful thing and we need it now more than ever. The movie looks absolutely amazing! I can't wait to see it! EDIT: I feel I have to say something based on what I've seen. Some people have made replies on other comments that Catholics 'worship Mary' and that's just not true. We're told that God is the almighty father and that he entrusted Mary with a child that would help spread the word of his love throughout the world. That child was Jesus; a man who traveled, helped people, and spread the word of the grace and love of God. A man who fell at the hands of the Romans, who later realized their mistake and slowly believed in God as well. (Hints the "Roman" in "Roman Catholic.") This movie, this story, isn't about praising Mary like a goddess. Mary is a saint in the Catholic church, an angel. Angels come down to earth, spreading God's word and help others follow his plan. Rather if you think the story is real or not is up to you, but it's a story about faith. About believing in God, in other people. The whole reason we're on this earth is to love. Love our friends, love our families, love ourselves, and love God if you have faith in him. We need more love in this world right now, more reminders of love, and less hate. Hate only brings on darkness and we need love to bring us back into the light.

My wife and I saw the movie last weekend. It was really well made. And of course, we love the message. We strongly recommend it.

I'd bring the whole family as well as our neighbors when we are allowed back to the cinemas to watch this.

A beautiful movie. Brief and to the point. Rosary was extremely thematic ( as well it should be ) throughout the movie.
