The series "Fatmagul" is based on the novel Veda (Crimean). The series follows the life of Fatmagul, who lives in a rural coastal town. Fatmagul lives a quiet life in the village where she and her fiancé Mustafa live. One night, however, she is raped by two young men from rich and powerful families. After the rape, the town Fatmagul and her family live in turns into a story of crime, revenge, and the search for justice.
The series explores themes such as Fatmagul's struggle after her trauma, gender roles, relationships between families, and the questioning of justice. It also explores how society discriminates based on wealth and power. The series takes viewers on an emotionally moving journey with its dramatic storyline.

When all chose to ignore the thing and move on with their lives as if nothing happened. Kerim chose to bear responsiblity of his actions instead of running from them. And that’s what made the difference….

I'm so happy for Fatmagül justice prevailed at last. She came out victorious and her loving husband Kerim. All thanks to Merrian for finding Kadir and Omer as their lawyers and end up a big happy family. Kerim's father played a vital role to get to the bottom of all deceit by the yasarans. To all the writers and producers of this true story well done🙌🙌🙌you did justice to the story and chose the best cast for this production the characters were excellent and i can relate to all. Kerim and Fatmagül played their roles outstandingly everyone did . thank you all and congratulations🎉🎊🙌🙌🙌😊 To the producers and writers it would Be nice to have another season of this story to see how everyone progressed thus far. I wish i can see more of this story. I learned a lot of lessons and helping others finds themselves in Fatmagül's situation. I'm from South Africa and Allah mukkades in South Africa she won't last. Here we fight for other women like Fatmagül our culture might differ a little but we look out for one another. That doesn't mean we don't have challenges of the same sort we do. Great story with great acting.Engin and Beren were phenomenal in their roles. Producer's chose the right two,not to mention Rami's role he was was good and of course the rest of the cast. A must watch series of Rape,because if you suffer and not report it the perpetrators will only continue with their sick minds and not be brought to book. Help others who are in the same situation.

Absolutely agreed! I have watched the movie 3 times! it has such an enduring effect! Engin&Beren were excellent and set a great tone for this series.In the story I enjoyed most of the roles/episodes especially of the family closeness & inclusivity(which teaches us that we should stand by each other as families and support the victim fully) There were many very good actors in this movie too. AN EXCELLENT SERIES! 10🌟would like to see another 2 or3 seasons🇿🇦

I can’t imagine they are descenders of great Ertugrul and Osman who fought for Turkey freedom and Turkish right who protected all girls even they were Muslim or non-Muslims. It’s really getting heart breaking that Turkey is going away from teaching of Islam and doing these kind of crimes. May Allah(SWT) guide Muslim Ummah and this kind of terrific incident will never happen with any girl again😔🤲🏻

Got that from an entire series? Women who have been raped in Islamic countries are not tolerated. You saw what Mustafa's family did. Secular laws protected Fatmagül, not Islam. I say as a Turk, the Ottoman state was a medieval empire. It was destroyed by countries that have reached modern times. A modern state was established in its place. The biggest reason why this modern state could not progress is Islam. Because most of the Turkish people reject modern values. They find the courage to show this daring by referring to Islam. Last word: Long live Atatürk, long live secularism.

Mustafa paid for a very bad decision, if he had to turn around quickly from it, just maybe he would have won her back. she was holding on, hoping ! but then he made one mistake after the other and look what he did to Hacer ! and his son ? no ways would Fatmagul have healed with him! he did not even make money, with fishing(he did build a house but had 'dreams' would he have finished it?) Kerim was smart, gentle, a blacksmith and had a wealthy family in Australia😆
