Amazing reaction, when you talk about collective memory I couldn't agree more. I'm Bolivian I love my country and our culture but when I hear things like this, I go back to another life that it's inside of me and miss this kind of things! Love it, and those are my kind of people too. Best of lucks with your project.

This music is primal in the sense of animistic and animism is the default setting of all human and all beings of this world and this is why we feel something we can't describe be it mongol throat singing or this. We are all connected to this earth and it's beings and world yet humanity made a disconnect and nowadays many people lost this connection but it was never lost because it can't be lost but only forgotten but it's never gone. Greetings from central europe

I saw a Faun concert with Einar as special Guest, they performed this song.. transporting. You are right, this kind of beat grabs you, doesnt matter where you from. Maybe its because its similar to our Heartbeat... it calls you. If I may, some Pagan bands I would love to recommend to you: Wardruna. Nothing goes above Wardruna. Heilung: something some have to get used to it, maybe, but when, you cant get enough. Very Shamanic. They doing rituals, no shows. The Moon and the Nightspirit, a sadly very overlooked Band from Hungary, very mystical, gentle, but very enchanting. Beautiful Cover Artwork, made from the Singer herself. Definetely worth a try, if you like to let yourself transported in a deep , ancient Forest full of spirits Gealdyr. scandinavian folk, too, similar to Wardruna and always a joy to listen to. Thanks for your thoughts and reaction and greetings from lower saxony.

I didn't think I would enjoy this but I was pleasantly surprised. I Loved it Thank you

If you're into this kind of genre and aesthetic, you should check out Heilung. They take it a step further than both Faun and Wardruna, both musically and aesthetically. Their songs In Maidjan and Alfadhirhaiti (both live) are good places to start.

Greetings from the Netherlands. Yes, this is cool and that was a pretty decent pronounciation for an old yank too. Wardruna has a song called "UruR". That is a combination of two runes. Uruz and Raido. Uruz translates to Fate. And Raido means to travel or Journey. See where "Fate's Journey" takes you?
