If you want the "puff" without the fuss...look into 3D Puff Stuff. Gives the raised effect and works like a water soluble top coat. Loving your design!

Right. Can’t run it fast at all. I slowed the machine down and it embroidered all the way threw with no breaks.

I probably would not use sherpa for a faux chenille look. You would get a better look using a good quality bath towel. We use burmilana thread and a element in wilcom es4.5 to get the true faux chenille look.

What specific elements do you guys use in hatch for the faux look? Just curious I use hatch also. Thanks

Nah. I don’t like the look of the towel. It looks to soft. I just have to trim better next time and make my satin border thicker. Lol @ true faux chenille look. If it’s faux it’s faux. There is no true faux. Fake is fake. The only way for it to be true is for it to be chenille. If it works for you and gives you the look you want then that’s good. I like if this better. I don’t like the towel material. To me it looks like a towel not chenille. I have e4, Luxe, hatch, pe design and had embrilliance, the software you are using has nothing to do with how faux chenille your product will look, the material does. Turned out great. I used a towel for my applique fabric...suggestion from another embroiderer...I like the way it looks.

Yup. What ever works for you. You can use any fabric you’d like. There are no rules to creativity.

I am currently waiting for my MT1502 machine and i am from South Africa. Again if it was me, i would take the appliqué fabric and embroider the tack down stitch then cut on the stitching and place it on the jacket where the tack down stitch is. Hope i make sense. You got all the experience. Im just thinking it would be better or easier to trim closer that way
