You make it look so easy. I installed my own faux locs, but I wrapped mine work Marley hair afterward because the faux loc twist pattern got messed up when I unraveled it to twisted around my braid. The entire process from braiding to rapping with the Marley hair took about a week! Lol I couldn't do it all in one sitting and had to do it in increments.

Ab to get my blonde locs in tomorrow I’m so excited that I had to watch someone else get it done

I will try this faux locs in my hair and see how it will look very nice love the hair style.

I am always looking for a simple quick and easy way to help my 16 year old daughter install her locs. She didn’t buy wrapping hair this time and wanted me to crochet her braid through the loc which took forever last time. This looks like a simpler technique that I am going to try today. Try using "krazy glue" to seal the ends. It works wonders better than burning the ends which end up sticking to the clothing.

So I got the same exact hairstyle but the hair stylist really Didn't Do It Good because when she did the single box braids and tied the crochet Locs on you can see the braids.

Who here thought, “seems like this stylist has done threading before” as she was wrapping the locs😅. Looks good cause I think that’s how I’d do it.

Ok quick question?.... why is it that every video I go to like this the technique is to add two 18” lox together to make 36” ? Am I the only one who knows that you can buy this same exact loc in 36 inches? This extra step really can be skipped... I guess unless the 36 inches is sold out then I assume this would be a tutorial on how to improvise.. other than the last step I’ll definitely try the first Method! It looks easy!

I have a question soooo if I want my locs to be let’s say 28 inches instead of 36.. do you think I would I be able to pull the loop up further and comb out more hair so it wouldn’t be as long without it looking bulky?
