I’m going to try this method. I’ve previously done it braiding and extension in from the root but crocheting both pieces looks faster. Also I want to share this alternative way to seal the Loc. The crochet hook that loctitions use (no hook loop part) world to just crochet the hair tightly together at the end as long as the ends don’t have any of the clients or your own actual hair. Then you won’t need glue or anything. Thanks for the tutorial!

Love this method! I could never get the nail glue to seal well with me and they always unraveled! I ended up using a flatiron to seal my locs! It’s a pretty good alternative too!

People’s hair fallout because they braid too tight. The reason is that faux braids aren’t supposed to stay in hair for long, after 2 months, you need to let the hair breath and comb it, if not your hair will start dread naturally, and when you try to comb it out, you’ll just end up pulling out your natural hair.

@@lanatheplantmom2160 No. I've worn this style pushing 4 months. All while washing and oiling my scalp and the take down was just fine bc this is SYNTHETIC hair. Now if u use human hair I've heard of that happening but I can't tell u personally bc I've never used human hair to do braids/locs.

YolieRose hellooo. Say it louder. That’s for any hairstyle. Your hair will start to lock especially with the products being put into the hair. People want the style to last 6 months or longer. Take that mess out and wash it

DOPEaxxPANA 😂 try gorrila glue it clear and in bigger bottle. Just make sure to clean the nozzle and put the cap back on for future use.

Yep I used this method 3 year's ago when I first did goddess locs on my own head. I watched a couple tutorials and was like let me try the braid and crochet method. Yours came out nice.

I use the already fux loc crochet hair then use the same method to wrap the Marley hair around so I don’t have to wrap the whole thing just till the end of my braid

Hey girl ! I just used your method and I love it !! It is so much lighter than the other way. I heard you mention it you need to work on adding so much hair. No, you don’t. That is completely fine ! Remember the more hair you add determines how thick your dread will be. What you do is, once your done with the loc.... Grab some scissors and cut most of the hair off from that loc you just did. Or at the end. Do the same. Grab each loc one by one and cut some of the hair off. It will look just a little more neater. And will last a tab longer because it’s not so much hair at the end. AGAIN... I LOVED THIS METHOD ! I Actually have a client coming tomorrow off the pic I posted of my hair using YOUR METHOD. Again 😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️

Awesome thanks ! Your totally right i can just cut some off the ends, lol idk why i get nervous to do it but I’ll def try this for the future. Just like you said when i leave too much at the ends it gets super tangled.
