When I was a young dummy, me and some friends went out in the desert and was just blasting shit with a shotgun... not only did we shoot the fuck out of Arizonas highly... valued cactus.. but after failing to find a bird to shoot I happen to spot one real quick out the corner of my eye and I just instinctively pointed and fired.... smoked a fucking humming bird😢 We were all excited about it when it happened and I felt cool but now reflecting on it not only did I break the law but I blew away that beautiful majestic creature just for fun 😞 never shot a living creature ever again since

As it should be, they fly constantly and travel great distances daily so to put one inside a house would be a cruel form of torture and they would probably easily get very depressed. Also, they’re very delicate and I feel like they would probably need to have a trained bird owner to take proper care of them

This probably won’t help, but if it makes you feel any better, I accidentally dropped a board on a garter snake and crushed it the other day. And it was the biggest one of a group of three so I can only assume it was the parent.

Hey I understand , while caring for a litter of kittens they were crowding me cuz it was feeding time and I sort of lost my balance and stepped right on poor Toby's head.. his little skull gave out under the immense weight and the poor little devil was dead in about 20 seconds. One of the saddest fucking moments of my whole life man. 💔
