Love this time of the year getting to get out and go bed fishing! I just fished a tournament on lake lochloosa on Saturday and a guy in my tournament rolled up to the weigh ins with a 45.23 pound bag of fish! I had a 19.6 pound bag with a 8.2 as my big bass!

There isn't a lot of pollen on the water there, if any, but people can also take dish washing liquid mixed with water in a super-soaker water gun and spray that on the water to clear pollen away in order to see beds. Just a tip from a Georgia boy. :)

i love bed fishing i love finding new ways to make em bite drop shot is always killer tho can shake it right in their face without having to move it outta the bed...but guys PLEASE release your big bedding females a guy at my local county lake is keeping several bass over 3 pounds even kept a few over 5lbs yea a big mounted bass looks nice...but get a replica or take a few nice pictures with it and get it blowed up into a nice poster it'll even be cheaper and you get to keep your good genetics spawners in the lake 👍 and smaller fish always taste better anyways

Pulling Bass off the beds is a No! No! It let's Bluegills raid the beds. It over works the males trying to protect the beds. Many males will die. Trying to defend the beds. I learned this from a old 90 year old pro fisherman. He said many bass are still in the deeper water. That have already spawned or waiting too. Not all fish spawn at the same time.He said he won touraments fishing deeper water during the spawn. How do you just justify bed fishing. By ripping females off the beds. Many will not return after being pulled from the beds. Many males are taken off the beds because they put the foreign object in their mouths to remove it from the beds and are caught to never to return to protect the nest! Think about what your doing just to get a PB. Shawn

Have you ever giving day tours to help people in the sport they love. I fish off a old bass tracker 170. Haven’t won a tournament yet. My goals are to get out of working on Volvo diesels and become a professional angler one day. I need some help 🤷‍♂️
