It is veryyy good. But here's the deal - I stopped reading it because I'm nearing the final chapters and I don't want it to end. Silly, I know. But want to wrap up my May TBR today so.... tonight's the night. A GR review and video forthcoming!

Oh yay! Recently found your channel, subbed, and have been enjoying your content. Clean regency is such a comfort read for me. I think because the books package just a slice of it - it's such a different world than ours that I can fully immerse and enjoy. Glad to find a kindred spirit in that.

Love Unscripted was my first one and it is SO GOOD! I laughed A LOT. The only reason I didn't add it to the list is because I've already read it. You can check out my GR review. Denise responded to it. ekkk thrilled my soul

Welcome!! Oh yay! I hope you enjoy Bethany Atazadeh's writing. I've researched and she has the trilogy that I spoke of (The Queen's Rise series), a quartet (The Stolen Kingdom series), and a duology that were her debut back in 2018 (The Number series). I've only read the Queen's Rise trilogy but plan to read the others - I'm trying to wait until the fall to read them but not sure I can wait! [haha]

You're right about Pepper. She's the best. Do y'all live near each other? She has some fun KZfaq videos on her channel but doesn't post much lately. I would like to do a 'Read to Zero Authors' video next month - Basham and Klassen are definitely two I want to read entire backlists from. So far there are only two of Klassen's that I didn't care for. Are you a Regency Era fan?

I've heard the audiobooks for the skymar series are really good. I don't do many audiobooks bc I have a hard time focusing. I would really like to try this series with audio tho.

The audiobooks for Skymar are great. At first, I thought the Southern accent was a little too much [haha] Can't wait to see what you think. However, because the books are epistolary, keeping up with who-is-texting-or-emailing-who is a lot to get used to. To me, it IS possible if you really pay attention at the very beginning to get the gist. Ideally though, following along whilst also reading the words with your eyeballs gives you the ultimate experience (I splurged to do this after starting Izzy & it was worth it to me). But if you want to choose between audio or paperback/ebook, you may want the real thing since you said you have trouble focusing.....
