!🌻🌺🌼Audio sounded great! I've entered my anthurium and begonia craze phase 😁 Right now I'm sticking to baby starts and not so expensive ones. I like not paying much and then watching them grow up and glow up in my care 🥰 That said, I just started an in-home business selling laser made items (lots of planty things) and plants...so plant purchases could be a right-off, right...sooo maybe I need to up my game 😂 I'm currently waiting on an offshoot anthurium radicans x luxurians to arrive 😍 and I have a clarinervium and bakerii. I just got a Begonia Fannie Moser and I'm obsessed with the dark, ruffled leaves

Your plants are lovely. I do not do well with anthuriums and alocaias. I enjoy your videos, but am glad nothing was added to my wish list. Of course, I love my Monstera Delicousia.

Hi Jaclynn, I also love Anthurium and Philodendron and will be getting some new ones again because I Iost all of my favorites. You always look so pretty everytime I come onto your channel. I have never gotten an Alocasia yet, and maybe when I have a perfect place for them I will get a couple of them. Oh I also love Monstera's and I have the Deliciosa. Love Palmstreet but the seller shipping fees can be a killer. I quickly found myself spending more on shipping than I was on the actual plants. I also had a horrible experience with Ecuagenara FL sending me the wrong plant and failing to follow thru with a replacement. The fellow plant peeps on the app are awesome!

I just purchased from Jinger’s greenhouse today at a plant event, and they have the most incredible plants! I was so excited! I got a gorgeous variegated heart leaf philodendron, and I just love it! Wonderful picks for May! 😃 🪴 🌸 🌺 🌹

Did not know wuhoo numbered plants had to do with which generations the plant is from. Thought generational anthurium are number after “F” for filial, such as F2 or F3 for selfed plants. 5:29

Some people will use the F before the number, for sure, but it's not necessary. You'll often see the number by itself or something like 1x6 to note which generations were crossed. Wuhoo Tropicals likes to name their pap crosses Wu1, Wu2, etc.

Rory or any major growers use some sort of identifier for a specimen since they might have multiple specimens of a given species (hybrids). In Rory’s case it is RA 1, RA2 etc. In wuhoo’s case the identifiers are Wu1, Wu2 etc. For example : Carlablackiae 1 x 16 bred by Rory Antalok In this example - Carlablackiae 1 x 16 means Carlablackiae specimen RA1 x Carlablackiae specimen RA16. Similary the “Wu6” in Papililaminum Wu6 x AoS, refer to Wuhoo’s Papililaminum specimen identifier Wu6. NOT a Papililaminum selfed 6 times. I highly recommend understanding the difference between Generational Identifiers vs Specimen identifier in Anthurium world.

The Alocisia with sport variegation is very easy to find I’ve come across a couple not as sport variegated like yours but I haven’t bought one because I just don’t like the leafs it just doesn’t draw me in 😅 kinda reminds me of the Alocisia tiny dancer leafs I have been looking for a sport variegated Deliciosa I’ve been told they need a lot of light and it will come out more … but who knows it looks amazing though 🌺 🌸

Alocasia are definitely more prone to sport variegation! And I'm pretty sure the Monsteras color depends mostly on genetics!

7:27 I don’t think that they are all epiphytes. Self heading and crawlers are not 😊

Philodendron silver sword is epiphytic. The leaves grow bigger and more mature as they climb, and it will naturally attach itself to a pole. If it weren't, the leaves would mature on their own, but they dont, theyll stay small. So if you're ever confused about it, think to yourself whether or not the plant needs to climb to mature. It's often sold already on a pole for this reason 👍🏻
