Great list! I think adding John F Kennedy or Honor for white roses. I really love a Floribunda called White Licorice. The blooms are smaller but just love the scent. I really love all of the Eleganza series from Kordes. I think you have to let yarrow open for a while before cutting (and maybe even sacrifice some side buds). Yes to more sedums ❤ One more perennial that i love is the fancy daisies. Short bloom period with a fall rebloom but great vase life and early. Some varieties are short

Coreopsis and catmint. Both have saved me when I didn't have enough foliage.

Hi, great list! Just a tip for cutting yarrow, make sure it’s fully open before cutting, otherwise it will wilt on you fast. 😊

Thank you for sharing your experiences. I love to use ladies mantle (Alchemilla mollis) in bouquets and cat mint (Nepeta). Best greetings from Germany Andrea

My Black-Eyed Susan’s spread like crazy. I have to keep an eye on them. Great tips! Looking forward to the spring!

Hi...I also have Sedum Autumn Joy. They are very easy to propagate. I trim mine in early summer when they are around 10ish" tall. You can take each cutting and stick it in the ground. Keep watered for a bit. Most will grow roots🤗 I trim mine because they sometimes flop over a bit and the center of the plant looks hollow. Each place you trim will branch out 2 or so shoots.

Scabiosa! Both the white and the pale blue! They are so delicate-looking, and beautiful. They grow well here in Oslo, Norway, as do all the others you mentioned. Peonies are my absolute favourite: the fragrance! But as you say, they need a few years to start yielding many blooms.

Perennial phlox, clematis and baptisia. And iris. My reblooming iris, they bllomed way past frosty weather, they are a bit pricey at first but they multiply. The smell is amazing. Zone 6A.

❤️ I love Sedum too, want more colors! Try white Gooseneck Loosestrife, it is so pretty- keep an edge on it or will invade your yard! I also like Coral Bells, perennial Phlox, and Blazing Star or Liatris, I have purple but would like to get white, plants split easily and quickly for blooms first year, I’ve always had the plants, I don’t know about starting them from seed😁! I’ve never grown single stem roses and I also have a couple knockout rose bushes too, so thorny! Your little bud vase of them looks adorable! Great video, stay warm!

You can get peonies of different varieties that bloom at the 3 different times. They usually say early, mid or late blooming

If you want to prolong peony season cut off some stems with larger buds, wrap them up in plastic and place them in your fridge. They will last for weeks in there but once you pull them out they will open very quickly!

I didn’t know there were perennial rudbeckia! I am looking to add echibekia (rudbeckia and echinacea mix) to my perennials. And yes to all the yarrow! Hugely beneficial that it’s super deer resistant in my area

Which zone are you in? For me in 6b rudbeckia comes back year after year, and tends to spread.
