I’m sorry you’ve been sick, but a LotR extended edition rewatch does help with that sort of thing! I’ve also watched it dubbed in French for practice because it doesn’t feel like work! The audiobooks are also fun. 💜 I hope next month is better for you.

You're right, sometimes we get so hung up on trying to learn all of the symbolism within the deck, we forget to just let the deck speak to us. Great reminder. Also, I don't usually like dragon decks but I actually like this one.

Adore your videos! I love, love, loveeee the Gentle Tarot. The linen edition is so soft & buttery. I held off on buying that deck for a while, but when I did I became smitten and I can see why it is so well received, recommended and cherished. It truly is such an incredible tarot deck, and I even cried some when reading the opening & closing card. The Alchemical tarot is another fantastic deck, one I recently purchased and am doing a deep dive with. Again, I can now understand and see why Robert M Place & his decks are also well loved & highly regarded. I’d love to purchase some of his other decks in the future (right now I’m *trying* to slow down some on my deck purchases, lol.) I’m glad you’re feeling better! I feel the same about the gentle tarot 😂 super oversaturated of it, but now I want it! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I need to check out that course platform, I'm going to dive completely into astrology soon though. I was loving the Mythos Tarot but really disappointed with the LWB that seems to be very cursory. What a shame that they don't give more information for those of us that aren't knowledgeable about these myths and legends.

Dark Rise and Dark Heir (there will be a third in the series) by CS Pacat, were the last two YA fantasy novels I read. Anyone looking for additional sexual angst could try their Captive Prince trilogy (check TW). Pacat's implicit character motivations are always intriguing but there is some brutal behaviour in CP.

I really hope that june will be much better for you 🤞🏻💜 I enjoyed ACOTAR but I lost interest in the others, and after being unable to avoid spoilers, I've decided that author is not for me 😅 but I recommend Sorcery of Thorns, anything by Rachel Griffin and the Undertaking of Hart and Mercy, also Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries! I haven't played that video game, but you put it on my radar! As far as recommendations, try the Lego games!!! They're fun, super funny and relaxed, they're like parodies of famous franchises so you kind of play the stories of all the movies with very funny twists and I love them! 💖 I started with the LOTR one, but I also love Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars is next on my list, and I need to finish the Marvel ones. Also Avatar is everything!

Thank you for letting me know that you liked the second and third books better because I was just meh about the first one and probably would not have read further otherwise. I much preferred the Folk of the Air trilogy by Holly Black but I think you’ve probably read those already? “Very thin and very long-that’s what she said”. 😂🤣 I believe I too suffer from “deck oversaturation syndrome” . Still haven’t gotten the Gentle Tarot but I’m getting closer! Robert M Place lives in my hometown! I myself was crazy enough to travel internationally with that huge ass book and it was definitely challenging. 😆

Omg I got the Hobbit & LOTR on 4K Blu-ray but every time I try and watch I fall asleep because they are so relaxing lol if you like to cook there is an awesome Tolkien cookbook out there.
