It was on the news when the eras tour film first came out about how film studios were angry. Record labels were also beginning to implement a “no rerecord rule” in response to taylor re-recording her work to own her work.

for some context because i’ve noticed a lot of people don’t get why the taylor joke was distasteful, for the past couple months, Taylor has been receiving A LOT of hate and backlash because the NFL is always putting their cameras on her. This backlash, although not always, is usually from sexist men who say things like “she should go back to writing abt her exes” or “she ruined football”. Jo Koy’s joke feeds into this. Although not as bad as the Barbie joke, it’s still uncalled for considering the hate she’s been getting for it.

Bruh, let jokes be jokes. I don't think they were particularly funny but not even close to being offensive.
