If Fawn was on probation when she went missing & was about to get off, how did her PO not see that there was a problem immediately. If she was showing up for meetings & then suddenly stopped at the very end why didn’t they do a welfare check? Law enforcement completely failed her & her family. This case is infuriating!

The description about Fawn's patterns of abuse hits so close to home. That poor woman has likely been dead for almost 10 years and she could have been found. If the cops got off their asses and checked on her, they might have found what they needed. Heather 100% is responsible for Fawn's disappearance. You'd have to be a fool to think otherwise. Many police are useless and I've had personal experience with being deemed guilty for a crime that never happened, even having a witness meant nothing. It wasn't rape I was accused of, however, being male, did not help me when the false allegations were made by a female. My witness was her room mate - meant nothing. 2weeks later I found out the female making false allegations, had done the same to 3 others before me. Found out she had not been taking her meds for 10 months as well. No idea what they were for but WAS told they keep her stable. Here's the kicker - 6 years later I was arrested for not appearing in court the first time. Yes I did go but the cops fixed me up after I had made my first appearance, and issued a warrant for my arrest anyway. There's a good reason cops are called pigs. It's nothing more than a gang mentality, with a uniform and badge helping them identify the other thugs they work with.

They feel increasingly helpless when there is nothing left for them to do that will make the slightest difference. And that is just from the first abusive relationship! Fawn had been in numerous abusive relationships. My friends and family were still around for me for 15 years of b.s. I also stopped reaching out because I knew it was frustrating for them and I was ashamed to admit it was on-going. Please lift these people that are doing everything they know how to do to find her.

Hitting someone is illegal. The victim doesn’t have to press charges, the state does it whether you like it or not. If your family saw any physical signs of abuse, why wouldn’t they report it? That’s always my question. Why not report it. If you saw a robbery, you’d call the cops. I think we all have a duty to report what we see, especially or domestic abuse victims. I’d kill myself if I knew my sister was being assaulted and I said nothing and she ended up dead. Im sorry no one reported your abuse, because he deserved to be in jail for it. I hope he doesn’t hurt someone else because he’s never been held accountable 😞.

@@trulytiffany.4773 the sad truth is that cops get tired of it as well, and most perpetrators get a "slap on the wrist" and go on to do it again anyway. Or in my mother's case, she called the police and they were both arrested because he had wounds on him from her defending herself. I was even assaulted by a coworker and his friend, and one of them got probation for a year, that's it. Even though I was left permanently disfigured and brain damaged and in constant pain, and was pregnant and gave birth to a baby that was disabled. In the beginning, the cop that showed up first threatened to arrest me too for fighting (just like my mother had been, and there was no fight whatsoever, I was attacked and it was sexually motivated) and he only left me alone because my father was a cop and called him to tell him to back off. But even my father wasn't able to have them punished. The system is really broken when it comes to crimes against children and women

The cops wouldn't even do anything when they got bonded out and were driving past my apartment, threatening me and I finally stopped calling and left town. another thing to keep in mind before criticizing families and friends for not filing official reports until well after the person goes missing: you don't know what they'd been doing to try to locate this person before the official report was filed, and you don't know that they hadn't tried filing one earlier. an official report isn't the only thing that can be done to find a missing person.

This screams that Heather killed Fawn and Heathers family helped to cover it up. It’s sickening, that family is completely sick in the head and I hope to God they all get charged with Fawns murder and and disappearance. Fawns poor family and friends, I can’t even imagine. If Heather or a family member of Heathers sees this video or read these comments... hand yourself in and give Fawns poor family the closure they deserve after all these years, you know what you did and you know what you know. I truly believe there is not an aspect of Heather where she is innocent, to lock someone up like a possession, a human being, is disgusting. I rarely comment on these cases but my god, this hurt, as soon as the mention of Fawns daughters Urn was not taken with her, a red flag popped up immediately. I’m so glad you’ve covered this case Danelle because this isn’t a single case, this happens every single day to thousands of people and not enough gets said about it. Greenfield Police need to step up and do their job, they’re there to serve and protect... they haven’t done a single thing to protect this poor woman or her family.

I grew up in an abusive household. I understand. I don't know why the police took Heather's word alone for what was happening. It was the police's job to take that report. Especially if the significant other leaves town within a short period. Heather sounds exactly like my friend's husband. I feel horrible for this family. Ooof. This one was unexpectedly triggering. After a lot of trauma and issues with men, I started exclusively dating women and moved in with a girlfriend after only a few months of dating. She was emotionally abusive and the whole relationship (around 3 years was how long we dated) revolved around her controlling most aspects of my life. I feel like there’s a misconception that women can’t be abusive or dangerous the way men can be, but it’s absolutely not true and only makes it easier for female offenders to get away with abusive behavior. My heart goes out to Fawn and her family, though, it’s heartbreaking that so much time has passed since she disappeared 💔 I hope so much that something surfaces soon so her loved ones can get some closure and relief (and I hope Heather screws up big time and is put away so she can’t hurt anyone ever again, regardless of whether or not Fawn is ever located).

Unreal! Shared on all my social platforms. Fawn needs to come home. And those using the system in such an egregious way, as to continue gaining false sympathy, and or support (Heather) should be held accountable!AND WHY CAN THEY NOT TRACE WHERE, WHO OR HOW HER DISABILITY CHECKS WERE BEING USED?? Money trail equals end trail.. Usually Prayers up to Fawn! We all love you and you'll be found and vindicated .

I've never seen another Fawn! I named my daughter Faun. Thank you for being such a caring person and getting such important information out there. 💚

Such a sad case, I believe she is unfortunately dead and I am 100% certain Heather done it. There is no way she would leave her daughter's ashes, no way! Considering everytime she left that was one of the things she always made sure she took with her. The police in this case should feel highly ashamed of themselves. I hope one day Fawns family have the answers they need and I hope whoever made fawn vanish * Cough Heather Cough Cough* has nightmares every day and eventually spills the truth. 👐 Thank you Danielle for covering lesser known cases ❤️

If Heather freaked out and called the cops everytime Fawn ran off then it's petty obvious why she didn't do anything when Fawn was gone this time

It’s heartbreaking that even police will disregard victims of abuse and domestic violence. So so many places and people who are supposed to protect people will allow their bias and judgment to be prioritized over safety. This one hits too close to home and I am hopeful that Fawn’s family will have answers someday.

I’m from Altoona, born and raised. Their PD is corrupt as they come. It’s a mess. They have a long history of covering for abusers. Especially when they can benefit from it. They did it to my family and we almost died because of it.

After you mentioned the “dog run” I was literally so disgusted by every detail and year after that. It’s haunting... I feel so horribly for Fawn and her mother....

Hearing Faiths story scares me, and hearing you speak about your children inspires me. I’m 23 and I just found out I’m pregnant VERY unexpectedly. I’ve struggled with substance abuse in the past. I was in the middle of severe depression & working heavily on trauma related mental health issues. I’m puking, have headaches daily, I feel absolutely horrible. My boyfriend of 5 years is very supportive & he is so happy and excited but I feel guilty because I’m terrified. I will love this baby and protect them every second of every day, I immediately began drinking water, making appointments and changing everything. But this was so unexpected, I live in a one bedroom apartment. Why I’m writing this here I don’t know, I guess I’m looking for support outside the couple friends and small family I have. I’m so scared to be honest.

Of course we don't know each other but you can reach out to me for support. I've never had a substance abuse issue but it runs in my family and I know how hard it can be as much as I can from a family member perspective ❤

Guys, there can be a very important message here in this story. Besides actual kidnapping, no one is "forced" to stay in an abusive relationship. While it does seem like kidnapping charges might be appropriate in this particular situation, there were opportunities to get out. The glaring problem is - self esteem. I realize relationships are multi layered and everyone has different boundaries, but keep in mind that we have choices. If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, they could benefit from knowing they have a choice. How absolutely devastating, but understandable that Fawn kept returning to her abuser. 💔💔💔 The most helpful thing for society would be prevention - to help children realize their value so they are not attracted to being mistreated. It's a horrible vicious cycle that only therapy can remedy. My heart goes out to Fawn and those who truly love her. 💔

Could it be that the investigators are saying that heather isn’t a person of interest to not alert Heather while they investigate her and get a case on her?

POSSIBLE. ALSO WITH NO ONE TALKING AND NO EVIDENCE THIS IS AS COLD AS THEY GET. SOMEONE NEEDS TO TALK AND TAKE HEATHER DOWN.
