People need to get over that Mommie Dearest nonsense. Faye is a great actress and has had a wonderful career. She made more than one movie, you know? I fell for her when I watched Bonnie and Clyde a few years ago, which is now my favorite movie. She was also great in Chinatown, The Network, Towering Inferno, The special Colombo TV movie, and others. She was gorgeous and kept her hotness well into her 50's, which is rare even nowadays. Faye is one of the best of all time.

I thought her tribute to Richard Burton was great to the point that it made me tear up the first time I saw it. The man truly was a great actor and a ‘summit’ she so greatly put it in her acceptance speech. God speed Rich.

This was a bright spot in her career, after Mommie Dearest,probably one of the few good things she was given in the 1980s, with Barfly. Such a waste she wasn't given more opportunities. Can't believe she's forced to act in B movies nowadays.
