It’s a bit stretch on me, but would it be cooler that Aerith and Zack protects Tifa against Sephiroth since Sephiroth knows the fact that Tifa can repair Cloud’s mind back in the Gongaga Lifestream part.

​@RealCFZ I don't mind of they protect them but I don't want them to like interrupt. I always assumed Aerith was the reason tifa lived in the lifestream so I think it's okay for her to help from afar but the momment is still private for Cloud and Tifa.

I wonder how this scene will play out now. I thought it was ironic that Cloud was already sitting in a wheelchair with mako poisoning in Zack’s timeline? When Marlene tells Zack to save Cloud in my head I was assuming she meant his mind. I wonder if he will have a role in that and I say that because he was important during the Nibleheim incident too

@@mikespearwood3914 SPOILER ALERT Rebirth ends during the events of the Forgotten Capital, when Sephiroth kills Aerith, or at least one version of her, as Cloud apparently saved an alternate version of her. Though that we didn't see yet the events of Mideel, when Tifa will help Cloud to retrieves his true memories, making likely that this part will be in the future third installement of the Remake saga

I agree but it also angers me nothing comes close to it even after so many years. Its weird that in gaming industry no one has the will or guts to make anything remotely profound yet those who do will be legends forever like mgs or ff7. We crave profound and mature epic tales yet we never experience them, no one trust the audience will be able to handle it. But once someone does, magic happens, its like that in all of art and fiction though.

@@sora_escandar222 Sephiroth was created during Jenova Project S, the Dr injected his infant child with Mako-energized Jenova cells, while Genesis and Angeal were created during Jenova Project G by injecting non-Mako energized Jenova cells into adults. Project G was a failure, they began to decay and die and had to be cloned to keep them alive, while Project S was a success. They tried dozens more times to recreate the success of Sephiroth, but all the new attempts failed to produce viable candidates. Instead, it produced weaker versions that could be controlled by Sephiroth, they are called his "clones" and 3 of them are in FF7 Advent Children. This ended after Sephiroth went insane and Cloud stabbed him, Zack and Cloud were taken to be turned into Project S subjects. However, because of the amount of Mako in Zack, he failed to take the cells and became a failed "clone". Cloud, on the other hand, accepted the cells and became the second successful Project S subject, which is why Cloud is as strong as Sephiroth and can resist his control. Cloud isn't a "clone" like the others, in a very real way he became Sephiroth's "brother". That's kind of the "nutshell" version but it gets the point across. The creator of the game modeled Cloud and Sephiroth after a Samurai legend about 2 brothers doomed to fight each other through eternity, which is why Sephiroth and Cloud became "brothers" this way and why Sephiroth keeps finding a way back to fight again. BTW, the FF7 Remake series isn't a remake of the original, it's Sephiroth remaking the timeline to attempt to win against Cloud. Hope this helps you understand the pair better.

English localization

It's about the same in Japanese in this case though, even this weird line (to be fair, in Japanese it's more clear that she's just teasing him). I think that's probably why it doesn't work in English so well, it just sticks too close to Japanese, to the point of feeling stiff, whereas in Japanese it reads better.

You got so much wrong it stops being funny. OG version of Aerith had a huge japanese theory that she was an escort. While it had a lot of points the most needed one is the difference is that - Tifa is the shy virgin one, Aerith is mature beyond her years and acts like a guide for less experienced.

Look I’m a Tifa fan, she’s my fav, but I’m not about to shit on Aerith just because I don’t want her to be with Cloud. Aerith is a GREAT character, and she’s super OP in Rebirth if you know how to use her. Both girls are awesome in their own ways.

I love Cloti... but please appreciate Aerith's character! Both Aerith and Tifa cares for Cloud's wellbeing. FF7's storyline wouldn't be the same without Aerith lol

@@BLa-lq2bs at beggining of rebirth Aerith said it herself. You should cherish what you have. And Cloud has only Tifa because she is dead. That should close everything.
