You can't really use a stronger power supply; The vista needs to be used with 16 volts.

you can't the vista panels use a specific 16.5volt ac adapter and even the bigger ones are capped at 40VA which doesn't do much as the vista panels have a regulated output of 12v@600mah on its aux power.(what you normally connect the keypads, pirs and other things for power) If anything a 2nd auxiliary 12v for devices (like the keypads) should be used in place, wire keypads up to their own 12v DC supply instead of using the panels 600MA 12v supply

@@alexandersalarms5380 no you can't but what you can do is wire the keypads on a seperate 12v supply instead of the panels regulated 12v 600ma output. (Terminals 4 and 5 on the vistas)

R Schadler It has nothing to do with the battery actually. The siren driver just happens to pull a lot of power and causes all the keypads to malfunction.
