I haven't played enough career mode to even know you can save without using the right stick but yes, in pro clubs you use the right stick to save :)

Honestly I couldn't tell you but there isn't too many actual good perks for goalkeepers regardless so i find it better to have on gold and it activates often so I would hope its something that works and has an effect

I personally haven't felt many times where I have needed the gold footwork over the silver one, could maybe say the same for far reach but overall I find it a little more useful. You can use either and be fine, honestly even the rush out one would be an okay option if rushing out animations weren't a bit broken 🥲

@@SubparSkill yea as a keeper This year I almost never rush out any time I do it rarely works out in my favor I just can’t decide between the stat boost during one on ones I don’t really care about the boosted save with foot Chance or the stat boosts for long shots because I rarely ever get scored on from a long shot with silver far reach most goals I get scored on are u know closer shots one on ones a decent bit so it’s hard for me to decide because long shots are much better this year than last year with playstyles tho so idk I’m at a crossroads on deciding between far reach, one on one, or even fast rush for the extra speed and positioning it gives you idk man I can’t decide

@astuteexxy7589 I wouldn't stress too much about it, stick one on and play, then stick the other on and see if there is any difference. For me none of these stat boosts or playstyles do much as a goalkeeper anyway. If you're a good keeper you're going to be fine regardless 😊 Far reach for me is more for shots right on the edge of the box after a sweat or AI shots which can be ridiculous at times. Either way it's not going to make too much of a difference

Honestly just keep grinding, use auto positioning if you're not ready to move manually and gradually lower the amount you use it to the point where you're not relying on it. Find chill team mates who won't care about silly mistakes because they do happen early on. Watch more experienced goalkeepers and try to understand what they're doing in different situations and why. If you concede don't just leave the game, lots of goalkeepers do this and it's not a good habit, think about why you condeded and what you could have done differently. Lastly is just have fun, if you're not having fun what's the point. Good luck 😊

could you please for the next time activate the controller inputs so like we can follow how you play because sometimes i just flick the stick but my GK doesn´t move and you are a great GK so yea a tutroial like video would be awesome

@Godik_ I'm away until mid January but when I'm back I can definitely try make a video like that. It's been a while since I have done one, I'll try remember 😊 As for the flicking the stick and not moving, it can happen, it seems to be a bug. Only way I stopped it happening too much was to flick the stick repeatedly if you feel like your player isn't moving for the ball. Very annoying that things like that still exist in the game this year

I haven't noticed any lag myself but i do know the pro camera used to be locked to 30fps and i don't think the others were, not sure if it's still the case. Sorry i don't know how to fix it, hope you manage though!

@HenDefes It may be a timing issue then, there is a problem with some shots where your player will just stand there, I find pushing the right stick repeatedly in the direction of the shot fixes that if you feel your player isn't moving but most of the time you won't need to

@aguero_thekid1924 You can put the weight up, it makes pretty much no difference. You just feel a bit slower to move if you have a higher weight, its very much a case of 'If it aint broke don't fix it' :)

In recent years automatic hasn't actually been available online from what I understand, it is just a career mode thing. Automatic = Only timing matters and it dives the right way regardless of which direction you dive. Semi = timing and direction matter but you'll occasionally still make the save if you dive the wrong way or the ball is close to your body

hey so ive been playing as gk for a while and have been confused on how all 3 really work. from what you said, why wouldn't everyone just use assisted?

Assisted online is just semi, unless they changed how it works nowadays but for the most part I don't see any reason for manual over semi, Some people just have a preference and that's fine, I have played both over the years but I see less and less reason for manual nowadays for sure

@ruthlesscash1929 If you mean cancelling the diving animation when making a save so you're ready quicker for the second save then unfortunately I don't, it's just something that happens sometimes and I haven't been able to figure out what is triggering it
