We are at quarters of FDNY Engine 67 at 518 West 170th Street, where we see the engine as it responds as an extra unit to Box 1775 at 550 West 190th Street between St. Nicholas Avenue and Audubon Avenue for an odor of gas. I am not sure why they were an add-on engine for a call so far away, especially if it were a 2+2 response; Engine 93 and Engine 95 are both closer. Either way, Engine 67 was called in. Needless to say, the engine was cancelled not long after leaving quarters. No surprise there, given the distance they had to cover. Today, Engine 67 is using an old 2003 Seagrave Marauder spare rig. Enjoy the view of the response with the old engine. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on October 29th, 2019.
