The extra $3 for the metal clip is well worth the money. Makes a world of difference. I bought one of these years ago because it was the only option for the gun/light combo I had. The plastic clip was so bad I didn’t ever carry it it was purely so my bedside gun could be holstered. Went to their website recently and saw they had the metal clips and now it’s actually a useable holster

By the way if this is for a carry gun there are Much much better holster options out there.

@@user-pz5ju7mw3k I would assume so, these are just dirt cheap. I have a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Slim in production but I just got my concealed carry permit, so I needed something to bide the time till then

Just picked one up for my g19 with tlr7 in carbon fiber black, I went with the monoblock clips, I don't like the plastic clips. Can't wait to get it. I texted them last night at 10 pm on their website and they responded in 5 minutes, that sold me on purchasing from them.

Any issues with these holsters scuffing your finish on both the slide and light?

I like that one for the FN and just got the FN 509 mid size but mine looks different than yours. I got flat trigger and different front sight. Stipling look diff on palm area. Must have upgraded it. Gonna check out that one you have for the fn. see if there’s on for light as well. Ty for the info.

Buy them off of their website, you will save on the taxes and save the company a large commission fee from amazon, made in usa

I just ordered one of these, because the custom holster I got claw broke off. Contacted shop and it's been like a month and still haven't sent out a damn claw.

I’m not positive but I believe it’s so your pants won’t rub up on the trigger and cause an accidental misfire

To push the frame of your gun closer to your body so that you print less.

The wing claw is for appendix carry. It pushes the grip of your handgun closer to your body to reduce printing. I carry a Glock 19 and 17 appendix and I wouldn’t want a holster without it.
