Feadship’s 100m/ 328ft Project 824 arrived at their shipyard at De Kaag last Sunday. We had a look at the hull on the following days:
-The moment the hull left the shipyard at NCM in Nieuw-Lekkerland on September 6, 2023
-When the hull and superstructure were joined together in Rotterdam on September 7, 2023
-The transport of the hull in Alphen aan den Rijn and Woubrugge on September 9, 2023
-The arrival of the hull at the Feadship shipyard at De Kaag on September 10, 2023
We compiled a video of these 4 days and in our opinion this is one of the best videos we ever made. We hope you watch it until the end and you like it as much as we do. Enjoy! Footage by The Nautical Lady & Dutch Yachting.

I enjoy watching these videos, between the tight squeeze in some places and watching the tug operators maneuver that ship down the canals is incredible. Especially considering an earlier reply stated it took a total of four hours to get to where it had to be. Very impressive!! 👏👏👏

Helicopter maybe on support yacht? Swimming area + stairs at the back. Limo tender , fishing boat trafic at same aft area? Chef milk run too. Are traffic light needed.

I guess the Dutch are still the kings of tug boating. Anyone interested; try reading author Jan de Hartog's harrowing accounts of being a deep sea tugboat captain during WWII.

This is indeed a very nice video. Excellent work! Lots to see. The squeezing through the bridge is a real high light. Could you explain why the propulsion system of project #824 is covered in these yellow airbag looking like tubes, please? Regards from the Leeward Islands 🌴

The tubes are just airbags. They are used to lift the back for the shallow waters

Nou, het levert veel werk op, het maken van die boten. Je bent echter in mijn ogen regelrecht geschift als je zo'n ding koopt, want het geeft geen enkele vorm van voldoening om zoiets te bezitten, of te moeten onderhouden. Het uitkiezen van alle troep aan boord alleen al lijkt me een ergernis van jewelste. Maar goed, als iemand er helemaal blij mee is, ga je gang.
