Going on a flight on Saturday for the first time in 2 years. This is so helpful. “Flying is 100% safe apart from the thoughts you’re having about it”

Ok. So I’ve been doing BK work off and on since 2015. I’ve thrown myself completely into it at times. I recently did a JYNWS & did the work with a help line volunteer. It was an hour long. This phone call changed my life profoundly. Things started to make more sense at an emotional level. I blew quite a few beliefs (didn’t know I had) during this conversation. I’m handling life sooo much better as the work is kicking in when I’m awake and living my life. I’ve seen this video before at least once. But it’s like I’m seeing it with a new understanding. Thank you Katie! The work is not easy. But if you hang in there and keep doing it. WOW. I still have work to do I’m pretty sure ( haha. Is that true??). But life is becoming better. ❤️❤️❤️

Byron Katie is very beautiful. 🙌💛 For my spiritual journey I've also loved watching lots of Master Sri Avinash Do lately. #SriAvinash ❤️ I have found Sri Avinash's Satsang videos so beautiful and useful for my life.

1. Is it true? 2. Absolutely true? 3. How do you react when you think/believe that thought? 4. Who would you be w/o the thought? 6:43 Mental movies 🎥🍿 Gratitude and How can I help? 18:34 Thoughts showing up isn't the issue. It's when you start believing them 30:08 😂

20:52 if you have physical reactions to your thoughts, that make it seemingly impossible to focus on the Work, the solution is to focus and feel those physical reactions until they dissipate... the problem only arises when you resist them... after that resume the Work...

Thank you so much. I just experienced that today and how different it was after 15 minutes of feeing. What I am learning from that is that if feelings are so strong, that very little else is possible it is time to feel and I will know when it is time to do something else.

@@trulyhappyfree340 ...in my case sometimes the feelings stay for hours even though I'm really focussing on feeling it... as I've understood that a feeling wants to tell you something, I do my best not to "make it go away", but to understand it... sometimes I notice an improvement in my situation the next day, sometimes I don't notice any big change... but I know my case is a very hard case (virgo rising = hard headedness) and I know this is the right way to go...

mssummerrose1 I had that happen too. A lot of those times I realise that there was part of me resisting the letting go.

@@trulyhappyfree340 ...I think it's rather the resisting of understanding the mental basis for this feeling... once we understand that, the feelings dissipate all by themselves... there is no active letting go of feelings possible... I'm willing to feel my feelings... that's my aim

@@mssummerrose1 I would try to ask myself Is it true am I really focusing on my feelings? And is it true that I understand what the feeling wants to tell me? I am a hard case, is it true? Does the feelings stay for hours, is it true?

a stubborn mind. it is incredible how persistent the mind is. it wants to control planes and keep a story. we become hostage without even knowing of being able to wake up.

I am afraid I am getting a massive panic attack before and in the plane, haven’t booked a flight in 6 years. Before I was a backpacker, visited India multiple times. So my worksheet has to be filled! It is so funny the story about being a backpacker is so far away and only a story. In the end I am now not that person anymore, it is like a rebirth and in that rebirth I am not a backpacker, how wonderful and I do not have to fulfill that expectation anymore, I can be somebody else I can be me this time.

Many people don't go on airplanes. Many! I see no problem with it. I find airplanes awful, airports confusing and I don't think planes are safe either.

Also, something not addressed here: generational trauma...did anyone in his ancestry died in a plane crash? Is he having a premonition about his future? has he had a past life where he died in a plane crash? Those could be true, as well. Not addressed here...of course not...it would be seen as especulation since it can't be proved. So I feel this is so limited and he should just not fly.

Cris Melo the cause of the thought doesn't matter ...whether earlier in this life or a past life .....it is attaching to the thought that causes the suffering and letting go is freedom. This man wanted to overcome his fear and was not forced to do this work . It seems to me that he benefited. Anyone who doesn't want to look at their fear of flying or of anything else doesn't have to. I know when I explore my fears, I find a lot of peace .......😊😊😊
