Personally as much as I respect the artist for what he tried to deliver I can’t see myself spending that amount for basically a tracksuit which will wash out and lose colour after a couple of cleans the essentials aren’t cheap but I don’t mind it when the black fades away like that

I’m glad you got your order. I ordered a few pieces on December 3 and FOG didn’t ship them. No explanation, just didn’t ship them. When I enquired the response I got was, “ok, we cancelled your order.” WHAT? No other explanation. 😂 What a joke.

Hey man, great vid! So, I don't have much essentials/FOG gear, except the T shirt from the last essentials drop that was WAY oversized. I definitely had to size way down for that. But I ordered a Large in the new Adidas/FOG heavy fleece hoodie, (I wear an XL in most companies) and hoping sizing down wasnt a mistake. I want it loose but not hanging off of me. Do u think a Large is similar to an XL in other brands? Of course, the one piece I want is sold out 😢

Yo Elliot! Great vid, I got a fog hoodie similar to the one you did and got it tailored to take some material off the arms and but it on the hood: SO WORTH IT. It makes the hoodie so much bette I would highly recommend doing it, I love the hood and the seamless front part it looks great

@@Mossb3rg206 Probably. Everything except the hood as you saw is a bit baggy, even for my taste, I would recommend the size down and get the hood tailored if you can.

its the same proportions as the black collection hoodie. maybe the hood from the black is a lil bigger but yeah ever since jerry went for turtle neck hoodies and hidden pockets i stopped liking the hoodies, i have the black colletion hoodie and ive only worn it twice ): lol

I like some of the pieces in this drop but compared to a collection like YGEBB the value isn’t there. I’d pick the washed black Dove hoodie over any of these hoodies and it’s made in America, 100% cotton, a better cut, and had a cheaper retail price. I’ll wait to check these out once they start discounting them.

@@sad9456The Washed Black (OG colorway ) was made in America. The first YGEEB drop was all washed black and for the second drop Gap introduced more colors that were manufactured in other countries at the same price point (which Ye later complained about). The quality control on the non US made pieces was also varied.

@@MrJamesFames I paid in the 300s for mine because I skipped out on the first drop but they did go back on sale in later drops at retail. I just didn’t think to buy another one, In hindsight I wish I did. At $240 it was worth every penny, and the resale now is crazy.

As much as I want to try cop a FOG drip, I can’t afford to slam down hundreds on one thing compared to hundreds on a set. (I’ve been slapping down $200+ on ALL SZN fleeces; Sweatshirt, sweat pants, hoodie) 3 birds with one stone. Maybe set aside for pieces of a fit but I agree, prices are crazy.

Considering I get 50% off essentials because of my work place, I think I’ll just stick to essentials as a whole. I rather get a hoodie for 50$ instead of 230$ for an essentials hoodie w “adidas” slapped on the back. It sucks cause I was excited for this drop considering I’m a big adidas fan.

I agree with you on almost everything, but I think some pieces do pay off. In my case I've kept the Heavy Hoodie (the first one in the video) and the basketball sneakers. We are talking about a collab with a luxury brand (FOG). No piece of clothing from a luxury brand is "worth what it costs". A Gucci/LV/Balenciaga hoodie... are worth 1500/2000/2500€... but you pay the "access to the brand". You pay a differential fact, and on a smaller scale is what happens in this collabo with FOG.

I think, because of Essentials, people forget that Fear Of God is ultimately a luxury brand. If it was Balenciaga or Gucci, this wouldn't be a problem. Plus it looks too much like Essentials line, so it feels like an Adidas collab and not the other way around. 🙃 The only pieces that speak to me are the 3/4 mock tee, goalie jersey and athletics 1, with Jerry's signature style all over it 😙👌 the rest are just overpriced Adidas imo 😮‍💨

Really good video, no bullshit, fair opinions and good details - for me a massive disappointment, it’s expensive yea but I just don’t get excited by any of it!? The shoes are basic, if they were just adidas they wouldn’t get looked at twice, the joggers probably 6 times too much and bland, the hoodies are just weird, tiny hoods, weird fits… saves me from ordering, being disappointed and returning - thanks Elliot 👍🏼

Its clearly overpriced. I know Adidas wants to stand above other sport brands such as nike and position their marketing and price tag to a higher audience with gucci, prada etc. But at this point where hype is completely dead, where it wont perform at all in its current market. The Pieces are "okay" and I expected a bit more, especially in terms of just casual regular style pieces, since this is called athletics. Just releasing Hoodies that they worked on for 3 years that look pretty boring isnt really making the cut.

I like the hoodie and the price is not a big deal for me. My focus is to support black designers. I’ve spent enough money on all those other designers that you guys pay way too much for and most of it is thrash
