We really need a show that will just be dedicated on explaining on how the apocalypse started and how it progressed, from the patient zero to the fall of the world and everything going dark.

@@s.f.a.7306 well yes but no, the only difference between twd and ftwd is the first season which shows just the initial apocalypse when it was in full effect and then goes to a type of a show like the walking dead is, survival, fighting, etc, not how it happened, how it spread so quick, no explenation whatsoever, in fear the walking dead the LA falls in 3 days, like how does that make sense? I meant a show that would like only be focused on the timeperiod before the outbreak and during the outbreak that would show how the whole world fell in one week, what happened in other parts of the world, how goverments reacted to it, how everything progressed, how military reacted, stuff like that, more detailed stuff.

LA doesn't just go dark in this scene. Los Angles is part of the Californian national power grid which is a state-wide power grid. In this scene the entirety of California is going dark , most likely even more than that. The entire west coast is going dark for the very last time. Absolutely terrifying

Season 1-3 were amazing, loved the characters, the atmosphere, the scenario. It was really good and for me that dam explosion scene that closes season 3 is the end of Fear the Walking Dead. After this, it’s an other show

When I watch the early seasons of Fear The walking dead I think of Rick in his coma. All these crazy scary things happened while he was in the hospital.

Rick was lucky that the military were too preoccupied with the walkers and people that they thought were sick other wise they may have shot him in the head on there way past when they were doing a sweep mission.

@@Sharkwave12 Fun fact, the season 3 finale aligns with the season 1 Walking Dead finale. The dam explodes on the same day as the CDC. The day Rick woke up, Madison, Strand and Walker arrive at the dam to discuss a water deal. Kind of cool to think about everything the Fear group had went through and accomplished before Rick was even conscious.

What I liked about the show is that the Apocalypse is very silent. No fancy hordes invading the cities, just everything going dark piece by piece, like a dying organism.

What's crazy is that I live here and I always pass by the locations they filmed the show. Watching my city collapse and be overrun by zombies was the scariest scene to watch. Especially those scenes where he's driving by the hospital and just the thought of people being eaten alive inside by the undead also scares me. I have to admit, this was the closes show that came to realistic virus outbreaks.

At 0:48 when the lights start going out, you as a viewer know when you see that the world has gone past the point of no return. But who knows maybe the CRM or the commonwealth will restore the world to its former glory once again..

Yeah that’s true in the post apocalypse it can’t be in wasted and damaged forever. It could be too risky for them to go to that Abandon city but they always got a plane to kill all the walkers that roams in the city is maybe Eugene could help them to built Technologies such as a drone to distract the herds and lead the walker herds to fall of a bridge and then these herds fall from a bridge and that could terminated these walker herds And your right the crm or the Commonwealth will rebuilt it and Re-fixed it again I’ll take awhile and years to do that but maybe crm and the commonwealth maybe they will team up to fixed up this fucked up world and terminate walkers that’s roaming in the city and maybe they got to figure out to prevent death cause the people becomes walker maybe they will like put a chip inside of a person if they died by stabbed in chest or heart the chip will spike their brains before they are gonna turn into walkers from death

It's been almost 14 years by the end of the walking dead series finale. By that point to many people died. Restoring the electrical grid would be impossible and you know how much medical science and technology they've lost. By this point there would be a whole new generation of kids that aren't vaccinated so who knows what kind of diseases they can catch and spread. The world could go back, but we would have to restart from the dark ages again. Witch is technically what is happening in the later seasons.

@@justinp5514 Dark ages? Bro, the CRM and Commonwealth still have scientists, they still have large libraries of books and the data centres hosting the internet are probably still intact. Digital drives will be all over the place, with a wealth of knowledge on them. And it's highly likely many people who worked in all fields such as engineering survived. Humanity will take some time to get back to where it was, but in no way would it be like us starting again from the dark ages. Not even close. If the CRM are capable of fielding helicopters and maintaining them, then there is enough people alive who know how to build and maintain component's for them as well as the industry to support it. You still have scientists researching a cure in France in the new show for example. And a lot of the information would be passed down. I'd say, for the world to get back to the way it was, we are looking at at least a few hundred years. And I don't mean back to where it was population wise. It'll take a lot longer for that.

This scene really gives the impression of the end of the world... as everyone watches as Los Angeles loses power forever. Block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood, the power grid fails, until the only lights that're still visible come from fires in the streets, or from buildings and cars that have been set on fire. The plane seen flying over Los Angeles at 0:38 is likely Flight 462, since the plane's original destination had been Pheonix, Arizona, but because the power grid had already failed in Pheonix, the plane is forced to detour to Los Angeles, only for them to discover that Los Angeles's power grid is also failing. If it is in fact Flight 462, this means the plane has been circling over Los Angeles the entire night, until the plane runs out of fuel and crashes into the Pacific Ocean the following morning.

Fear Season 1-3 were incredible. Even tho Season 2 did have some pacing issues, it was still better than what came after season 3. I will never forgive AMC from what they took from us, Fear Season 3 was incredible and heading towards a good path, but they got greedy and ruined it with the soft reboot.
