@PunkRockChannel my friend an fiend Greg had a F.I.F.H. tee shirt .89,90...got dirty looks everywhere we went .....FEARLESS IRANIANS FROM HELL was based in Texas and big in the punk scene ....we never saw them ,we lived in Laredo and would jam them all the time....A band that was also on Boner Records that i personally saw and hung out with.....was FANG....2003 Austin had an 8b. partied before the show and after....at 2am Roger Miret vox for Agnostic Front..... showed up....The Disasters had a gig in town as well......Sammytown and Roger greet each other .....could hear a pin drop.....then the party went on .....we split at 3am .....got fucked up till 12 noon in San Antonio .....my friends sisters apartment.....hit Laredo late visted a get together of local punx .....im wearing my FANG tee that Sammytown passed us each,, ,a thank you for pulling out the party supply....Fang was in Texas??!!!

Awesome story! Fearless was a great live band! Huge pits and crowds at the shows. I got to drink with them in back of Club O a few times. The 80s was a killer time to be in the Punk Scene. Thank you for sharing your story!! It's always good to hear people's accounts of the scenes or bands they've seen!!

Oh yeah I went to the show when fang was touring and he killed his chick? It was 87 or 88 sometime.

@@PunkRockChannel OK we will address the Elephant in the room .....he was strung on smack .....band fell apart apparently he was big in the Acid game ....caught the woman in an affair and did the worst sin of sin....murder. And is still a folk hero of punk rock......I saw FANG live 4 times 97.2003,2011 and 2015....first time he was on parole 2nd we partied ,3rd he got straight and 4th he is a sober living counselor.....all those times I had...weed then coke on me ......he is a drug free individual who summed it up .....dope life doesn't and shouldn't last forever.

I remember seeing them when I was a kid absolutely loved it! Hands down some of the best shows I've ever been to huge pits! And then hanging out with them after the show!

I was in the 7th grade I had to sneak out a window at my folks houses to go to the show. I got there late and was on the outside (thank God) of a riot between the punks and the cops . I never saw the show but saw the chaos that was cooked up but the punks and the authorities. To this day I hate cops

Yep....at 15 to Midnite ....cops raided a death metal backyard show.....all the kids were yelling obscenties at the cops ..a plain clohtes detctive sprayed mace at all the kids im a fairly tall vato....all the short people includeing girls got squared in thier eyes while i was hit in the chest.....we took a girl to the emergency room .....all because of devil worship paranoia.....but then there was a satanic triple homicide involeing a skate punk who was strung out on cocaine and acid.....early 90s Tex Mex border.

Yeah, wild times indeed! It was a lot harder being a Punk or Metal Head back then. You fought a lot. Now everyone has colored hair like nothing! And the bands nowadays are part of the damn system!
