I love this style of case. The dial is lovely and the applied numerals are excellent. I also like that onion crown. And the chocolate strap complements it very well. Very attractive watch. I think circa £2k would be palatable but over 3 makes it too much. You can get a lot of watch for that money, say a BB58 with a superb movement, a preowned omega or a breitling. Very nice though

Ive around 335 videos now but the older ones aren't as well recorded as my new stuff is , I've now got a set routine I work to and it seems to work a lot better it only took me around 200 videos to get to it lol Plus now I have much cooler watches to review from either F&G or subscribers asking me to review there watches which is always nice. Please don't cringe to much when you watch them 🫣

Incredible dial. Love that shade of salmon, very nice. Only thing I don't quite get is why its so thick. The 7001 is 2.5mm thick. Actually a tad under. I know the applied numerals add some height but can't be that much. Still 11 is not too bad just bad for a 7001. Anyways, amazing watch. I also think its cool that they made a platinum Brunswick. Little more expensive ;D

True and being a 2 hand centre pinion model the hand stack isn't very much so no idea why they couldn't of made it 10mm or less

It would be nice to get a bracelet option a watch like this with such a gorgeous dial should have a bracelet to match. I love the salmon color and those applied numerals are eloquent. I even like the “tonneauesque” shape of the case.

Its is a shame they don't offer one , but if they did I dare say you would be looking at a 4k plus watch

I like the numerals and the watch face styling but not really a fan of the case, because of that case it isnt something I would personally wear but the face is gorgeous in styling even if I again do not personally like that salmon color. Thank you for covering the watch and introducing me to a watch company that I didnt know of before 👍

Hi - I was seriously thinking of buying one for a number of reasons, not least for the history etc. Attention to detail is one of their motos - so why from at the beginning of the video (2-12 seconds) does the lower second hand look as though its 'off centre'? I know its speeded up but at this price range there is a lot of competition.
@ClickSpringReview
@ClickSpringReview 8 ай бұрын
I never noticed that , the tip of the second hand looks to stay central so can only be the centre of the hand isn't concentric Mark 🤔

Very nice watch but a bit pricey. I know it has heritage but still is not as widely known as some others in the same price range.

For me its just to expensive ,The Pequignet I have RRP is £2800 and that has an amazing in-house movement which is beautifully decorated and even has a chaton jewel setting for the main spring barrel instead and still have 500/700 left over

I was sort of hoping on an informed opinion on what might truly justify the ambitious price in this video. It's clearly well thought out, detailed, and put together with care and quality components, but so are many other micro- and revival brands (some more so than others) that use off the shelf movements yet without the absolute premium. Here we're well into the territory of prices where in house movements even become possible (Horage) and zaratsu polishing (Estonia 1918). Except for reviews confirming it's really nice and well-designed and put together, I never quite here clear justifications and that leaves me with an irksome underbelly feeling.
@ClickSpringReview

Unfortunately Benjamin I hear where your coming from the fears is a beautiful watch but I could never see myself buying one at that price , My Pequignet Royal Manual is over £500 cheaper and twice the watch IMHO with its stunning in house movement.
@benjaminvis
@benjaminvis Жыл бұрын
Thanks for mentioning Pequignet. I didn't know about it. It does strike me that a major difference is that Pequignet puts major emphasis on their movement, while Fears puts major emphasis on their dial and case. Only you can comment on whether the Fears achieves more refinement in finishing that way or not. Stylistically they are very different and that's going to be personal. I personally do prefer the aesthetic language of the Fears

@@ClickSpringReview yes, have been reading and seeig good things. Quite partial to a few of their models, yet they've yet to drag me over the line. But it's a good example in the sense of that I might expect similar levels of quality to Fears, yet there is a big price difference. Whether I justifiably expect similar quality is the question. I miss very concrete explanations of why Fears finishing is so superior to the likes of Farer.

3350 for this ? Thanks, but no thanks. The movement isn't anything amazing, and it doesn't look good - they're aware, thus no included display caseback as standard (considering the price, it should be). Why would anyone pay for it on top in this case(?), it's beyond me... The back of the watch is just boring, stamp something on there at least. @thenextelvis165 mentioned the namesake square, use that maybe. It's too thick for the functions it has - no date, no automatic rotor, small seconds, no water resistance to speak of. It should be 10mm or even sub10. oooh, you know, but we have history !!!! pay us 3k for our history !!! .....yeah, no. If a microbrand picked up this project, it would cost 1k max. They had a beautiful purple version for the jubilee of the queen, if it was at that price, I possibly would've bough it.
