It is time for another indie horror game and today we take a look at the short, but very sweet Home Alone game that is part of the Fears to Fathom anthology. Fears to Fahtom is a collection of short horror games based on true stories sent in by people online. This game tackles the notion of the home invasion where a stranger comes into our house with terrible intentions. Though the game is less than 15 minutes it is incredibly atmospheric and summons a feeling and fear I have seldom felt in other horror games. That notion of your own house not being safe is something we have not encountered a lot in horror games and it was very refreshing to see it in this format. This game is actually free and is a great introduction to the other episodes which were released after, but I would love to see a game like this expanded with more mechanics and playtime.
