I haven't played videogames properly for nearly 10 years, I came across this video by chance and I'm so impressed with the direction gaming has taken I think these indie studios appear to be realising the benefits of scarcity - similar to the original Silent Hill, they hide lack of intricate design resource behind practical fear and stylistic intent - less is more - the fact there are no voice actors, the fact there is no attempt to make the geometry capable past 2006 engines all leads to a more isolating and surreal experience the sound design was fantastic, pacing of the subtitles, the palette, the score - really entrancing experience even from a viewers perspective let alone the players - super interesting, thanks for posting

thank god for no commentary, imagine trying to enjoy a playthrough where the streamer’s over-exaggerated reactions distract you from the game’s ambience. Most youtube horror game commentaries are absolute dogshit and are for people who are too scared to immerse themselves in the art form without an obnoxious dude screaming every 4 seconds to break the atmosphere.

Thanks for the vid, but man this game looks like crap. I love how when she gets a ride, she makes him wait while she grabs everything she owns from the car. I get grabbing your most valuable items (phone, laptop, etc.), but who would bring the dog food, skateboard, etc.? That just seemed absurd.
