When Jesus saw Matthew - a greedy & dishonest tax collector at his custom's post - His personal call of love 'Follow Me' demonstrates God's power to transform any kind of person into a saint for His glory. Jesus' intrinsic reply to the community who were scandalized by his dining with Matthew silenced his detractors - 'why would those who are well need a physician. Is it not the sick who need treatment? Jesus' healing comes with mercy not sacrifice. May we be like Matthew who answered Jesus' call & followed Him. Godbless & heal you Fr. 🙏 💕

We begin the day with this teaching. With the time zone difference the kids listen to the first teaching of the day while hvg breakfast.The WOG to guide them as they begin their day.they listen to the second link on their return while hvg their post school snack.a constant infusion of this blessing ensures somewhere God will show the seed and pray that their lives are guided by the HS thanks to the effort and faith formation made available for us by shepherds like you Fr Warner.Thank You from my 💌

I watched "The Chosen" serial and Matthew's role; his waiting at the sea shore whole night, to see the quantity of catch of fish, so that no one will escape the tax. Beautiful scene is leaving the tax counter and following Jesus, just like a child. Jesus says: " today will have a party"; Matthew says: " I can't come, tax collectors are not invited "; Jesus says: " You are the host". Worth watching Matthew's reaction and excitement. Yes, one who encounters Jesus, never remains the same. Jesus knew, calling of Matthew, will pull in many Matthews and sinners to be His true followers to build the Kingdom of God. Unfortunately, there are many called, but still live as tax collectors and sinners with sympathetic & emphathetic excuses, as a dog goes back to its own vomit and a washed pig goes back to its mucky pond. Lord have mercy on all. Thank you Fr. for beautiful session.

We see in today's gospel, St Matthew, the tax collector, leaves his tax booth and follows Jesus, but takes his pen with him and becomes an evangelist and apostle of Jesus.He also invites his colleagues,by inviting Jesus for a meal and thereby converting many more, because He came to save sinners, and that is what He tells the pharacies,so that they will also experience God's mercy.Thanks, Father for your teaching.God bless.

The moment our LORD asked Matthew to follow HIM, he instantly left everything and followed HIM. Such was his promptness in following our LORD, a great transformation from tax collector to an Evangelist. "THOSE WHO ARE WELL HAVE NO NEED OF A PHYSICIAN, BUT THOSE WHO ARE SICK"..."I DESIRE MERCY, NOT SACRIFICE." ...
