In this video I show the construction of a utility knife in the feather pattern, with a merino sheep horn handle.

This piece has a special meaning because it was made precisely for a friend who raises merino sheep.
Between the merino splints I used a stainless steel plate, in order to avoid oxidation due to the sweat of the hands.
At the end of the video when I test the knife there is a destroyed place in the background. It was a lumber yard that was consumed by fire five days ago, and I made it appear on the tape to record the date somehow. In the last video I posted she was still there. Incredibly, there are still embers even after five days and a little rain, you can see the smoke in the rubble.

Essa peça tem significado especial por ter sido feita justamente para um amigo criador de carneiros merino.
Entre as talas de merino usei uma chapa de aço inox, a fim de evitar a oxidação pelo suor das mãos.
No final do vídeo quando testo a faca tem um lugar destruído ao fundo. Era uma madeireira que foi consumida por um incêndio cinco dias atrás, e fiz com que aparecesse na gravação para registrar a data de alguma forma. No último vídeo que postei ela ainda estava lá. Por incrível que pareça ainda há brasas mesmo depois de cinco dias e um pouco de chuva, pode-se reparar a fumaça nos escombros.
