Aardman Animation characters are usually so expressive (heck, Gromit never speaks but you can always tell what he's feeling) so they must've delved deep to build a villain that rejects their usual design philosophy so hard. Feathers McGraw feels so unnatural because his aesthetic is bare bones, every movement is unsettlingly methodical, instead of the usual emotive eyes his are just blank soulless beads. All they let you know for certain is two thing: He is a penguin and he wants to hurt you.

But he is cute and very funny in making you laugh at just how comical he is to be an actual murderer who can and will kill you. 😂 It's that more witty and somewhat morbid humor from those old VHS tape that probably started my love for animated content and stories and characters and especially the taste I have for morbid humor and visual jokes today. And probably Anthropomorphic Animal characters doing anything from epic battles to breaking the forth wall and going all Meta with the dialogue and humor. . . . Yeah, I'm one of those and between stuff like this and Disney it's no wonder. Honestly took me long enough to connect the dots as my last Teenage year. "Oh yeah . . . That actually makes a lot of sense and explains a lot." 😅🤜🤛🐶

Considering A Matter of Loaf & Death left us off on a cliffhanger of her joining the family, i'm half expecting her to show up again in this and we see what's been going on since she moved in with them. Nick Park if i recall correctly even teased in an interview back in 2011 that if Wallace & Gromit ever returned, Fluffles at this point could possibly be Gromit's girlfriend. Now THAT i want to see.
