I've always loved making food videos and that's how it started. KZfaq starts off as a passion. Dont get into it if you are looking to make it your job. It doesn't work that way :)
Why arent you on TV?
Because the internet is easier and its free for you guys hahaha! Also we are currently working on producing TV shows ourselves and i have some TV shows floating around.

To those who are correcting Erwan of the English Translation of the Arroz Caldo, sorry to break it to you guys but he is right. True that the translation of Caldo is soup or broth and Caliente means hot or warm BUT here in Spain they don't translate words literally especially when it is already being used in a phrase or sentence. One word here has a lot of meanings and each meaning differs in every sentence. Arroz Caldo in Spain means warm rice or hot rice.

Us Pinoys are stuck with the old Spanish terms kasi. There are a lot of modern Spanish words na iba na sa old meaning. Like the word "tijeras" which means "gunting," but for a lot of Pinoys, tijeras still means "kama" or sometimes yung nasa economy class ka ng barko na magkakadikit ang mga "tijeras."

The peninsula lugaw is made from sticky rice of himalayan mountain and chicken of San Pedro. San Pedro sacrificed his chicken for your lugaw that's why it's expensive.

It's kasubha or safflower that gives arroz caldo its yellowish color. It's a standard but optional ingredient of arroz caldo.

Compared to the many other food VLOGs yours is full of rich information and fun facts that I really appreciate. Hazel Lopez audio is ok on my phone but when connected to my headphones, audio is working only on my right side

Recently ate early breakfast at manila pen. Terrible service lousy lugaw meal at 1400! 2pcs of worst siomai&siopao a plain lugaw, oily yucky noodles we were given 4kinds of menu (3lower w/ betterchoice with lower prices& 1 with the higher price) with diffrnt prices but they insisted that the higher one is the updated one. One of the Worst meal ever!!

I agree. Was never impressed with their food. Completely overrated. I usually don't stick around hotel food when in Manila. Lots to explore around the city with quite a few gems. Would try the street porridge when I get back. Good video, Erwan 👍

Great video! Made me miss pinoy food! This comment is off topic but I just remembered, if I remember it right, that I saw you while I was renewing my DL back in 2010 at the SM Makati/MRT office and you were also trying to renew yours. Unfortunately they didn't let you renew your license that day because the officer said you drove off from a traffic enforcer when he flagged you to stop. LOL. I thought, typical rich kid. But I'm really happy to know you turned out to be a great person! Way to go Erwan!

Yeah!!! Lugawan sa Tejeros has been one of my favorite lugawan.. medyo malayo nga lang sa Alabang pero worth it ang layo especially with their Lechon Kawali Goto!!! Ugh!!! Can't wait to go back there!!! Thanks Erwan! Nag crave na naman ako sa lugaw... hahaha

Was looking for good lugaw place for my gf cos she loves lugaw here in the Philippines (she is from Korea btw). Love your vlog, man.
