Definitely not going to be getting my deer chores in this month. Too many rabbits and squirrels on public land that are sending me applications to rent some of my freezer space. Way too many interviews lined up that I've got to get to.

Hey Jeff, why don’t you use solar panels on those cameras? They pay for themselves in no time.
@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751
@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 6 ай бұрын
Hi Donald! We have roughly 16 we use. Unfortunately tho, they don't work very well in the shade 😊 We have just about 25% of our cameras in the open enough for solar panels. Also, we are using about 25 Reveal lithium battery packs...that really saves a lot of money!

Man can someone help me out. I’ve seen all the videos and unfortunately none of them are a “south Texas” tips or parcel design etc. I’m curious if it’s possible to do habitat improvement etc for this type of environment.
@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751
@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 6 ай бұрын
Hi CJ!! All of the design tips have the same concepts that apply to anywhere a whitetail roams. For example, check out today's bedding layer video! That concept defines how both bucks and does bed, anywhere they live. Doesn't matter if you are hunting in TX or MI. All the other design concepts work anywhere whitetails live as well...

Been watching your videos since we’ve had some lackluster hunting seasons. Used HuntWise app, met with someone to clean out a .40 acre food plot to create our DOC & completely marked our property line for access around our 25 acres. Will keep watching for good content but we are North Louisiana

Have you ever implemented and low fencing. I hunted an old farm that had about 4 acres fenced in with 4ft hog wire. It hadn’t been bush hogged in years and the doe would jump the fence to have their fawns. I quess I kept a lot of the predators out.

Morning Jeff. I just went out yesterday and tried to do some predator control on my property.. ended up getting skunked. So I spent the rest of the day putting in 2 new vine scrapes and put cams over them. We're gonna start doing a little bit of cuts around the property in a couple weeks. It all starts soon as the season ends. Or, does it actually end? Doesn't seem like it lol

@@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 I don't have any regular bucks. I have a few that pass through but I was wondering if knock the does down to maybe 2 will more bucks come around. The deer bed on my neighbors property and come to my property to eat it seems. I have a mix of oaks and pines. It not super thick but it's not sparse either. I got water holes and salt licks and plenty of acorns. I am probably going to be planting a food plot this year to but I'm just wondering if I should thin my does out some. I just don't know
