February in the Netherlands: Amsterdam

We went to the Netherlands! Here's just a few of the days we spend in Amsterdam. It's a beautiful city and we had lots of fun! There is so much culture to experience and interesting foods to try! My favorite thing may have been the canal cruise though which I highly suggest if you really want to see the city through a different lens.

Hey, do you know if the Van Gogh museum is open during February? I heard a rumour it was closed and my boyfriend wanted to visit when we go to Amsterdam.

Sadly Emma, I actually don't know. I wasn't able to get to the museum while I was in Amsterdam :( Here is a link I found, however, for the hours at the museum and looking at that and the related calendar, I would say probably! What is the temperature of Amsterdam in February?

Agus thanks for the question! I actually don't remember what the temperature was specifically since I was there a while ago, however, in general it's around 6 Celsius / mid 40s Fahrenheit. It was pretty crispy and was drizzling most of the time. I still LOVED my time there, but I would definitely bring some warm clothes (I ended up buying a warm scarf while I was there) and some shoes that you can get a little wet. If you are okay with a little rain and cooler weather, it's so worth it!
