How can Powell possibly say that he thinks inflation will come down to 2% when Govt. spending and deficits are ballooning and this money has to be borrowed , which means it has to be created. He already mentioned that Govt. spending and the debt that comes with it are unsustainable. More created dollars equals more inflation. Expanding Govt. spending is fueling inflation.

Translation: "I'm bailing on that 2% policy, too. Just like I did with transitory inflation, as I scramble to save the stock market... oops, I meant the US economy... so I don't have to do yet another secret bailout out for banks then quietly bill the American taxpayer..." Jerome: Could we strike that last part from the record? Congressional GOPs: "Yep!" Congressional Democrats: "Sure thing!" Washington is a joke and every American with a sober mind and clear thinking can see it, even past all the smoke and mirrors of left v right politics.
