Location: Burgin City Hall, 117 Maple Street, Burgin, Mercer County, KY
This was simply an awesome day. We originally headed to Mercer County to record something in Harrodsburg, but ended up in Burgin instead. The 3T22 there does a noon blast, however the folks at the city hall allowed us to use the RC6 to perform an "extended" test. We wanted to see if the dampers were still operational, unfortunately they were not. Regardless, Mike gave it a few cycles of attack and it sounded awesome. One of the dampers is stuck shut. Enjoy!

Is this what a 10/12 Port ACA Hurricane would sound like? From the manual control it has a similar rythem to a Hurricane.

I think may be on 480 and both dampers are close. That’s just my guess.

That thing winds up fast! What a shame the dampers didn't wanna work for ya. Maybe you can convince the owners to get it fixed. Would be nice to have an active 3T22 that does a fire signal.

Just went to it on 6/3/2023. It's still there. I asked someone who lives across the street if it went off. He said it does randomly, sometimes it's 1:00, Noon, or even 4:00 or sometimes not at all. Also, the bottom damper still looks stuck.

I assume both dampers were shut? That would explain the extremely long wind down, especially on attack.

@@someboi7308 for a couple of reasons... 1. They said so in the description that they tried the dampers/solenoids but they were not operational. 2. They flipped the "Warble" switch in the RC6 but to no avail.

The 3T22 has dampers. (Look for a box mounted to the intakes.) A 2T22 does not. If it does Hi-Low or Pulse, it's definitely a 3T22
