First successful test in Illinois since October. This Thunderbolt was discovered just a few months ago by Jared Smudde.
Teutopolis, along with the majority of Illinois, tests their sirens on the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 A.M.

Used to have one of these in a field at my elementary school. I loved it when they would test it every month, or so. Luckily it never had to be used for real

I've loved tornado sirens since 2001 and I travel to see sirens I'm always right next to one

When I was in elementary school in the early 60s, we had one of these in the schoolyard that revolved exactly like this one did, and it was all right after the Cuban missile crisis

The Bolts have their own special beauty about them. It does have a rosy glow about it as it glows in the sunshine.

It's actually a 1988 C series but I wish it was a 5M lol. It was decently loud all things considered.
