Best angle gor tennis imo, court level is sooo much better I dont get why more tournaments go for the high angle view

I prefer the high angle that they use to use in the 90s - You can at least see the whole court and both players equally well at the same time as well as gauge their game better.

I agree! At this angle, you can actually see the speed and spin of the ball. I remember watching a Graf match once; from a high level, it looked like her slice was floating around, and I couldn't understand why here opponent wasn't smashing it. But then when they showed the lower angle, you could really appreciate what a knifing shot that backhand was --- totally different perspective on the game. Same is true for the extreme topspin of today; at a high angle, you can't see the arc, you just see a slower looking ball.

because these were fast courts :) Nowadays there are no fast courts on tour. Last year the fastest court was in Turin where the masters finals were played. The rating was medium-fast.

@@sebulban Have you seen the Cincinnati courts this year? Pretty damn fast.

@@SyncopateTheShot Yes, the court pace index is 42.5 this year. It is almost in the fast category. Last year it was 34.6. The increment is huge.

@@sebulban Indeed, Alcaraz blames the center court’s pace in particular on his loss this year. He said it was different than the practice courts.

@@SyncopateTheShot It seems that he is struggling on faster courts. Maybe just because the lack of experience in them. He played quite bad last year in Turin ATP finals and it was the fastest court of the hard court events on 2023. CPI was 42 in Turin. Nevertheless, the court should never be blamed as it is the same for everyone.

Much of that has to do with the camera angle(s). Can’t figure out why (tennis) TV has regressed in that respect.

Because it is early of Federer career against American legend . If they met after 2010 for example , not body like Federer in crowed support

@@abdullaha1764 I think Federer also became more popular once Nadal came along and started to give him trouble. I remember disliking Federer back then because he was so dominant and made tennis so boring. There must have been other people who felt as I did. He won almost every tournament he played; people forget that nowadays. And yes, Agassi was an American legend + the underdog, and Americans love cheering for the underdog.
