Ernesto Hoost kicked ass but for the purpose of my argument I'll just say Schilt was the best. Hoost lost to Schilt twice and in his last fight in 2006 although that was near the end of Hoosts career. Hoost and Schilt are both awesome, top two of their decade

The other fighter, Vincent, looks great with his kicks but he is more off balance than Fedor and his lower kicks. Have you ever seen someone throw a kick like Vincent did at Fedor in a real fight? The Cro Cop fight maybe but every other time Fedor takes down men who go off balance and try to throw high, pretty looking kicks. Fedor outweighs Bruce Lee by a factor of 2. I dont care how good Lee was all Fedor would have to do is sit on him. Lee would dominate the lightweights though guy is fucking awesome.

When I was a kid I thought Bruce Lee was the best as well. I have his movies and martial arts books, but realistically he weighed like 135lbs. What could he possibly do against someone as fast, well trained and strong as Fedor who weights 230lbs or more.

Yeah it's clear that Fedor is the student here. People forget that Fedor is the best not because of superior technique because his intelligence in using the techniques.

hes trying to show the little rock he does as he switches that makes the kick quicker and more powerful. Its little thinhgs like that that make the difference between a noob and a champ. when he switches he lands on his back foot a split second before his front, this causes him to rock forward slightly, this sets him up for the kick.

his kicks ar really strong, this comes from training alot in Holland. His manager has alot of connections in the dutch fight scene, Fedor was training with bonyaski and spong for the CroCop fight... alot of mma fighters have pretty weak kicks just because of lacking technique...

Parisi's kicks are much higher than Fedors kicks. Vincent is likely more off balance with his kicks than Fedor. I rarely see Fedor use kicks in his fight. Emelianenkos opponents, except Cro Cop, are typically unable/unwilling to try a kick high on Fedor. Check out the Semmy Schilt fight, if you kick high like Vincent then you will get taken down.

I have 8 years of experience in judo, and i can say Emelianenko is great. Amazing skill, agility and strength. You may have chances against him maybe with AK47=) PS Resently i have heard some words about french. And now they are proven by one exemplar=)

yeah, people dont understand that realistically, regardless of bruce lees skill, he cant compare to someone like Fedor. Not only is Fedor bigger and stronger, but he is of equal or greater skill and ultimately would destroy lee. Lees strikes would most likely have no effect on fedor

Fedor might be the best free fighter, he can't excell in each department. Wether you like it or not, his leg technique is yet to be perfected, and "the other guy", who of course won't beat fedor in a fight has nonetheless a better leg technique than fedor, hence the teaching

Maybe once he learns the game. Right now, Fedor has the physical ability and, reactions to handle Brock, in addition to the intelligense and, experience. Fedor is a great MMA striker, unlike Randy and, is about the same age as Brock, unlike the 45 year old Randy. Still, Randy did quit well against Brock, with the exception of that big right cross.

@MrMannerheim Fedor's kicks are devastating. He just never uses them for some odd reason.

if u watch how fedor kicks it is like abllerina at no point during teh kick is he off balance his kicks are always thrown in a way as to come forward on his opponent and close the distance this is sumthing a traditional striker cannot grasp

@nodecorn remember Fedor againts tim sylvia remember how fast that fight was over look at the size and strength comparison. Size doesn't have much to do with it. It's about technique accuracy, ability and know how.

@Lukasrofl I think boxing is also dangerous for the street, when I trained in boxing I could see there are a few glitches. dodge and u will get a knee, take off ur huge gloves and u will hit less and also break ur hands, Bj penn was saying Boxing is easy with these huge gloves u always hit and can protect. Bruce lee was not the perfect fighter but he was in my opinion designed to fight more in the street than in a cage : finger in the eyes, headbutts, speed, trapping, kicks with shoes etc...

fedor is my favorite mma fighter but dont ever disrespect bruce. bruce's side kicks would break your spine in half. bruce's training was on some hardcore nasa space science shit. read his books, he was ahead of his time. he had eye gouge dummy heads, speed sensors for kicks and punches, electrical currents for simulating push ups. etc etc. nobody trained harder than bruce, to him martial arts was designed to kill not for sport

Bruce lee would lose to Fedor in any arena. but in the street you don t meet Fedor for a fight, you meet the average joe, a group of 3 average joes or sometimes a good joe. Being a good street fighter is to practice 3 to 5 techniques 10000 times to face these scenarios, u don t need all Fedor or Bruce knowledge.

@drunkendragon182002 MMA is a nice sport, but many dont understand that, in the ring there are certain rules you follow to cease disqualification. If you look at most of lets say Shorin Ryu karate techniques.. they involve bone breaking, blinding the eyes, pressure points, rib breaking, etc. That first hook punch a fighter throws, any martial artists can counter it with a massive technique and ending it right there...but its most likely against the rules and might get you in jail hahaha.
