Problem in this game, atleast in my opinion, is that i don't have a reason to go and play with a new gun, back in Battlelfield 4 it was unlocking attachments for them,( Didn't really matter if they were simililar to other guns ) Coyote and Cobra Sights were the best and i enjoyed grinding the weapons to get them, now is just, hop in, play a match or two and not come back for a few months.

Isn't it weird when you're reloading and the new magazine is just as dirty as the one you were just using?

The visuals of this game never fail to amaze me...

A thought that came to mind while watching this: I know you argue about dice's decisions on point distribution, especially regarding playing the objective. If you killed an enemy on the point from range you could get point proximity bonus. You could also receive this bonus when you are also on the point. In an ideal situation it could take the combined absolute distance from the point and distance between the players to scale the bonus. You also want recognition and rewards for playing smart. What if shooting someone in the back, not being spotted or damaged got you extra flanking points. Again the math would probably be complex and tedious to implement but these are just ideas.

Last time a DLC weapon revolutionized gameplay as much was probably the Deagle .44 from BF4, bringing revolvers damage to a somewhat fast firing pistol that was still fairly accurate in both ADS and Hipfire, with the only real tradeoff being its recoil being a bit higher than almost every other pistol. The deagle was a two shot to the body and one shot to the head, and had a very high time to kill. ANYONE who had access to it WAS definitely using it. I have to hate a little bit that it didn't take as much skill to use as the revolvers, but I can't deny its being the best handgun in battlefield history (In my opinion).

Idea: 1 month after the release of every dlc, you get a one month trial of any dlc weapon to encourage people to buy the dlc

Sorry Levelcap but I'm happy that they have made/added a gun (i known it's still only in the CTE) that is a match to the MP18. Its about time there was a good gun that allow me to get in there and do some CQB, why should the assault class have all the best guns/weapons in the game?!. the use of the medic in BF1 is at an all time low, i have been in a team and been the only medic on that team of 32 players. I almost top the over all leaderboard for points in that round but it wasn't because of kills.

The Ribeyrolles 1918 is considered an "assault rifle". This is mush more of a "battle rifle" because of the barrel length and cartridge. More like an M14 for example.

Excellent review video and I agree with pretty much all the points that you have made. Just unlocked this weapon and got my first service star for it just a little later. I think this can become easily the new favourite of any medic class players thanks to the fully auto mode and rate of fire/dmg. Also worth mentioning that in medium range, aimed down sight it's pretty accurate. Which gives you the option to go aggressive in CQ and also wreck enemies in medium to long range. Add a big ammo capacity and quick reload and you have probably the best medic gun in the game.

I think the best medic guns are either this or the Selbstlader M1916 Marksman. There's some gameplay of the M1916 on my channel if you wanna see and compare.

exactly!!! My first thoughts too after using this. it allows you to be an aggressive medic. now getting close and personal with the enemy is a good thing although the recoil must be respected

Seems pretty dope. I hope that we can get more weapons like this for the people that do feel like playing up in the fray with the rest of the team. Same with the Assault class; the Ribeye was a good start for SMGs that can play a little more at a distance.

Yes the hip fire is as you say "decent". Because it's the Trench variant not the factory as you kept saying. More accurate is that it has good ADS for a Trench rifle.

I believe DICE should take the two new night maps and turn them into a new operations. Avaliable for everyone. But keep conquest, frontlines, rush, ect. behind premium. This will increase the number of players in operations and possibly incentivise people to buy into premium.

At least DICE is trying to make the medic class more used but debatable if itll help reviving

what about the sweeper. fully automatic, very good in close and medium. way better then the auto loading extended.

The 1907 Sweeper has always existed buddy. I know, it shoots 33% slower - but it also does nearly DOUBLE the damage and is still full auto! I prefer the Avtomat for it's superior accuracy and hipfire, but in close quarters I can't honestly say this is better than the Sweeper. A Sweeper can fight aggressively and easily wipe out an entire squad in 1 mag (3 shots to kill, or only TWO with a headshot).

Level you should try to do some more double vision or squad up videos for old time's sake

Looking forward to using this. I still feel like the Selbstlader M1916 Marksman can be used at fairly close range, the TTK is pretty low, especially if you land a headshot.

The only thing I don't like about Fedorov Avtomat is that it's an Assault Rifle (!) for Medic: a class that so far only got SEMI-AUTOMATIC WEAPONS ONLY as main weapons (with the exception of the M1907 SL Sweeper). Kinda seems like DICE decided to throw weapon balance for the medic class out the window for this gun.

In a weird way it reminds me of the Ak12 banana style clip grip gives the gun an assault rifle feel.

The M1907 SLR Sweeper and Cei-Rigotti trench are going to be irrelevant once the Russian DOC comes out. Both this and the RSC 1917 are top tier.

In my opinion the 1907 Trench is the best for aggressive medic. You can totally destroy people at close range with it since the hipfire is amazing. (i have 2,6 kpm with it after 2000 kills)

Actually get some kills as a medic?!! I (and many others I'm sure) have topped a scoreboard with top kills while using: selbstladers, autoloaders, and the mondragons. You don't need the full autos to top although it makes it easier for sure

I'LL SAY IT ONCE AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN the autoloading factory has the second fastest time to kill in entire game. (if you don't count revolvers and one shot to kill guns like shotguns and snipers) If you know how to use it right nothing can beat you within 30 meters unless its an automatco up close. I have 70 stars and counting with it. HELLRIEGAL IS NOT OP THERE ARE WAYS TO COUNTER IT.

Am I the only one who prefers the BF1 gunplay? After going back to BF4 a lot of weapons, especially assault rifles, felt weightless. It was like I was firing a puny laser beam at my enemies. I think the long er time-to-kill makes for more interesting firefights, whereas in BF4 it was basically just who saw the other first.

When Lupkow pass is available to premium pass owners I'm gonna be so desperate to pick the DLC guns up off of them

Who thinks DICE should make it so you have to choose you fire mode before entering a match so everyone has a free "only syringe" slot instead of a fire mode change? Because even if people play the medic, it doesnt mean they'll use the syringe as a equipment to revive

I've been a cqc Medic since I got my hands on the Trench sweeper already. I don't have any problems reaching the mvp status with that one already, so I doubt that the Federov will be that much of a gamechanger for me or anyone else.

about time, I'm gonna buy the Russian DLC for the gun. I was getting so annoyed with the new medic play-style to the point where myself and numerous other console players don't even play as medics even though we would play as a medic.

I generally main medic and finally they gave us a good weapons for aggressive play but it's a freaking dlc so can't used it. CLASSIC EA DICE.

For every new class-specific weapon DICE adds, aren't they basically rendering several other class-specific weapons useless? Lol I mean, I typically use whatever weapon no one else is using just for the challenge of it, but it seems like DICE just can't figure out how to best balance their game. I'm curious how the final game, post patch & post DLC, will play. I'm thinking game balance will be completely different compared to the way it was at launch but I could be wrong.

Are any guns coming in August or are they all dropping in September. Can't wait to get my hands on this.

Hopefully this weapon doesn't become the most overused medic rifle like the sweeper

Just make dlc weapons purchasable with war bonds. They will be expensive so it will be hard to get all the weapons but I think thats a fair tradeoff
