@@mimiko_04 well it's called Sacred Echoes and first you need a clean FE8 ROM and it's not finished yet, either. I've already played through the beta several times and I think I'm just going to wait until it's 100% finished before playing it again

That Duma at the end was WOOOOOW. And the shield throw was WUUUUUUUH! Overall I think it's save to say that Sacred Echoes will become one of the most important projects in the history of FE hacking. What HyperGamma and his team have been done so far is so... I can't find words for it. Awesome Animations. This is always one of the presentations I've been looking for the most!

Personally, I was kind of eh about “demakes” until I saw Sacred Echoes. That game’s a gem, and not just on the aesthetic side!

I like how the Royal Sword and the Falchion appear on Alm's sprites if he has them equipped that's a nice detail

@@justapassingbycommenterrem5642 currently are 28/44 Chapters done, Act 3 is complete. Next Update will prolly drop around Gaidens anniversary (march 14th).

Oh my goodness these are amazing. The smoothness of the animations and the attention to detail like that little cackle from the cantor and crit animation with Rinea having like a summoning circle below her. These sprites are all amazing and of course the duma sprite just like very one else mentioned is godlike.

As a gba fire emblem fan I enjoyed seeing this. I'm glad someone made this. My favorite was the crit animation of the bow , and I hope you go as far as to animate new spells if you make another of these

The Alm bow crit is the best bow crit animation ever. Spinning arrows to crit is so stupid, the rapid-fire style is great.

your work is really good. Probably the most talented FE sprite artist Ive seen. Animations are fluid but nothing too over the top, yet still feel impactful and epic. Seeing your work makes ME want to make sprites! 😃 Thats art!Maybe someday How long would say it takes to complete one entire set of basic animations? attack, dodge, and critical

Thank you very much! I'd say give it a shot xD It isn't that difficult to get started plus there are quite good tuts out there;) Hm depends on the complexity and how many hours you can put in but in my case it takes usually 2 weeks if I can work 1-2h a day on it. But well, my anims are known for having a ton of frames xD

Ok 2 things: 1) The animations are SICK, you sir are one of the 2 most talented spriters i've ever seen (the other one being obsidian daddy) 2) How does that crit animation against duma work? Anyways, it's amazing how much work is being put into sacred echoes, definetly one of my favourite hack roms Sorry if my english is bad btw

This is a fe8 fan game for sure than fe7 or fe6. The cantor arcanists are reminiscent of the monsters and zombies. Looks like someone liked the Erika Ephraim one.

Awesome animation! Are you remaking the details based on "Gaiden" or "Shadows of Valentina" Because I saw Alm using his right hand to use his sword. It's not a bad touch though, it lets us see his shield in frame which is a very cool detail!

Once again, they look smooth, natural, and fit the Sacred Stones engine perfectly! I liked seeing Alm’s promoted bow animation too. The last showcase made me shit my pants, the way the shield bounces out of frame is both funny and awesome. 100/10

These look nice, but most don't feel like they fit the pacing or flow of the GBA animations. A little too much "wind" in some of them. The capes look really nice though.

@@knightmarin Simply because the animation is based on his gaiden anims, where he is right handed. Plus it was easier to animate while allowing me to show of more details.

I know that he is depicted as such in newer entries. Making him right handed again (as in Gaiden) was a stylistic choice between the author of Sacred Echoes (the hack for which the anim is for) and me. This way it was easier to animate and I was able to show more of his design because otherwise he would have faced away from the screen more often than not. We feel the animation looks more interesting like this.
