Congrats on another job done on the farm. Like the stickers especially the colored one really sticks out. Your dog Ellie drinking rain water is so typical they will take that over fresh tap water any day.

Great video Cole and the feeder looks like it long over due a little TLC. Good way to get the water to go away and dry the yard up.

Make sure you tighten that set screw until it strips, then back it off half a turn. Works every time. Love your videos, you must get a real sense of accomplishment at days end.

A old piece of chain link fence about 8 feet long with a few wooden 4x4 strapped to the top side works well as a drag, might not break like the chains are doing.

Boy there always something to fix on the farm you guys stay on top of things and and keep your equipment in top top shape man when I was farming with Dad the worst job ever was to have our feed wagon break with two ton of feed had to scoup out all that feed with bucket s our what ever we could master up plus livestock were getting hungry we could have done ( I) could have done better P, M, S thanks for videos and hang on to the memeres of working with your father God bless

Cut some holes in the I beam and run air craft cable and clamps instead of welding chain. That’s what we did. Never had a problem

Good job on always explaining thing's. I have a learning comprehension disability. I watch farming on Sandi Brock sheep farming and growing farming with them too but you really explain stuff more. Oh and the positions of the camera are awesome. Oh slow it down on the fast forward can't make anything out.

Working on a farm is kind of a lot like working in a machine shop. When you're not running the machines you're making repairs on them. Okay Cole, now it just looks like you're playing in the mud ! ( can I drive next ? )

sure would like to see you guys get in the habit of painting never seize on everything you assemble. it sure pays off. everything you have to take apart once you'll have to take apart again someday.

I almost lost me finger to one of those chains, so I was unloading some pellet and we had an old chain trailer rig set up where it served as a back up. The chain tension had be lose for the longest time and the chain had been oxidizing. So this rig worked just not up to spec, got to unloading the bugger, well I got to end and was just waiting for the crumbs to fall off seeing the slow chain go made my youthful and unwise mind think ahh I'll just knock it off with me bare hand. Well got my hand to knockin under where the chain rotates under where you seemed to be working on, in the vid. So remember an oxidized chain doesn't have good joint movement, meaning it binds in places creating a sort of funky chain reaction, so I didn't see it was making the weird quirk. Just came out no where a knot of chain came around clamped the top of my hand with the cross beam I was cleaning. Boom started getting sucked in 💀 but the Lord was on with me that day and I swear a miracle the quirk unbinded loosening my clamped hand. I honestly don't what might have happened if the knot had stayed I mean them PTO will move some weight around certainly snap a chain. But again the Lord was watching my unwise choice and taught me a valuable lesson in safety. Better spend that extra minute on precaution than a limb or a life. So yeah that's my story on chains, they demand respect.

Cut a slot in the steel so the end chain link will fit through, then put a pin through the link. There won't be any welded steel to be weakened and break
