Rain or shine, caring for the tortoises in my backyard reptile sanctuary is a full time job. Today I feed all of the redfoot tortoise, leopard tortoise, elongated tortoise, cherry head tortoise, aldabra tortoise, galapagos tortoise, sulcata tortoise and iguanas in a rain storm here in South Florida! What a great way to spend a day!All your animals have the best enclosures, better than some zoos i have visited in the past. You must go through so much food!!

It is so cool to see your tortoise come running well not running but walking pretty fast tours you when they see or smell you I could see them every day and It won't bore me it is so special the relationship you have with them a big tums UP to you and your team for the work you do with all your animals.

Great video as always! Thank you! Now I want to mention Brian Barczyk. His vlogs was what really cemented me loving reptiles and gave me the opportunity to discover you which I will be forever grateful for. Not only was his love for reptiles that I loved I saw what a genuine, caring, selfless and all around good person Brian is. As of recent in his podcast and his latest vlog he’s not doing to well. It hurts me a great deal because seeing him battling with anxiety is like literally looking at myself. If you look at his eyes you can tell. Please reach out to him and let him know you are there for him. Maybe gather up many of his good friends and surprise him by showing up at the Reptarium or putting out a vlog praising or something but he needs you. I’m sure you all have probably reached out to him already but personally I think if he has you around him for a bit it would probably help a great deal. Thank you and love you for all you do!

Man Kenan this reminded me of life on my family farm! Rain, sun, snow, or tornados the animals had to be fed, watered, and for some stalls cleaned! Always enjoy seeing your animals!!

I love a nice steady summer rain, at least if I don't have to work in it. Getting caught on my scooter with fifty or sixty miles to go can be annoying. But hearing it coming down watching Kenan feed his animals feels a bit cathartic! Long time ago I would pull a kitchen chair in front of the screen door and just watch the steady drops and listen to it drumming off porch roof. Ahh youth is wasted on the young! LoL! Will the tortoises eat Squashes? acorn, butternnut, winter, zucchini, yellow summer squash? Will they eat fresh string beans and snow peas pea pods? Plant some sweet peas along your fences between the enclosures and watch them grow and get eaten. Peas are good for your soil as they carry nitrogen fixing bacteria with them.

Too rich in nutrients. Tortoises need very low nutrient food because it takes so long to digest.
