After having seen, last year, the mega shredding and threshing sites put in place at the Monastier Social Stable, we show you where and how the products obtained are used!
First of all, we give you a few numbers: since 1969 this agricultural cooperative has been working with a strong spirit of collaboration and to date it has 23 members, 5000 animals reared, 1 megawatt biogas and 650 hectares of cultivated land. In the video we are at the company headquarters, which is spread over an area of ​​almost 60,000 square meters and has 2800 stables, where the heart of the company is; and it is here that most of the activities take place, we have filmed what is the normal routine of a day in the barn: management of cattle and loading of biogas.
So let's start with the description of the protagonist of the video, the 19 m³ Siloking SelfLine Premium 2215 unifeed mixer wagon! This machine, of German production, is undoubtedly among the top of the range in the sector (and also one of the few in Italy). It is fitted with a 175 HP (129 kW) 4-cylinder Volvo engine and Bosch hydraulic pumps; thanks to the remarkable engine technology, the maintenance interval (including oil change) has been increased to 1000 hours of work. Furthermore, despite the numerous units that require hydraulic operation (cutter, mixing unit, etc.), the hydraulic system requires only 140 liters of oil!
Another noteworthy feature is the special coating of which the caisson and the coating of the screw coil are made: the Silonox. This particular stainless steel alloy is particularly resistant to both wear and acid substances; in fact, compared to steel S355 (St-52) normally used, the duration factor is greater than 3, that is, it has a useful life of at least 3 times longer. Speaking of the auger, in addition to having a carefully designed geometry in accordance with the shape, height and width of each specific bin, it is equipped with a high-capacity neodymium magnet that manages to free the bin from foreign bodies without compromising the forage. The body has a very precise integrated weighing system, in fact to ensure a more accurate weighing, the body and the loading unit are separated, so only what enters the hopper is weighed. In this regard, there are also interesting data regarding the tiller: 2 meters wide, 58 knives and the transport channel 700mm wide (the direction of the conveyor belt can be reversed to allow the unloading of excess crops present in the loading channel) . Another noteworthy function is the one concerning the cooling compartment; behind the cabin we can see a large radiator (1.4 meters in diameter) where underneath we find the cooling modules for oil, water and intercooler which are arranged next to each other and not superimposed, in order to exponentially improve the performance of cooling down. Furthermore, as soon as the cutter is activated, a device for the inversion of the air flow is activated, thus not sucking up the dust produced by the grinding! Below we list the products that are used for the mixed ration; obviously not all rations are the same because they vary according to the type of animal, age, weight, etc. (you can also see in the video that the ration is prepared and then loaded into a Faresin wagon to go to nearby farms).
The mixed ration consists of the following ingredients:

The quantities of the ration can be programmed from a PC, where the history of the rations can also be kept under control with the Feeding Manager, and then transferred to the machine terminal.
In addition to the preparation of the unifeed wagon, we also see Dieci telescopic handlers engaged in feeding the biogas present in the stable, note the Trioliet shovel for optimal loading of the products in the trench.
