She got more domineering, particularly towards dan. One of the episodes I despise most is the video to their unborn baby where she said no one has ever helped her or given her a leg up in life, Ziggy gave them money for a bike shop, Bev technically put up all the money, except for Nancy's, for the diner, and dan always tried his best to provide.

Grew up watching this show and STILL watch it in little binges every Saturday through Tv Land or CMT or Cozi Tv. I will say that with all the crazy behind the scene stuff with Roseanne vs. the writers and producers etc. has always sounded like such an over the top nightmare I would never had wanted to work on the show lol. Sets that were more professional and nicer to be on like Everybody Loves Raymond and Frasier, just as a few examples would be more my cup of tea but despite all the issues on Roseanne, the show is still one of the funniest and greatest sitcoms ever made!

I don’t see how The Conners made it four years I have never watched it. Because Rosanne was killed off. BS

Roseanne had recently purchased the rights to produce an American version of the British comedy smash Absolutely Fabulous. The pilot was filmed but never picked up, so Roseanne basically decided to turn her own sitcom into what she had envisioned for the American AbFab. It was absolutely the wrong venue for this concept.

It is a great series. But I would be pretty nervous if I ever guest starred because of how crazy she could get on the set. I don't think it was as bad as people say, and even the kids thought she was like a 2nd mother to them and you could tell they all loved it. But I have heard stories. And I don't blame her for sometimes being a bitch because you're starring on a hugely successful sitcom, you got the network breathing down your neck and your marriage is struggling. I would be stressed too.
