I want Wolf to belt this out, scream it from his soul. That would make it perfect.

I learned this on bass. It's in G, but Ronnie appears to be playing it in the A position. Am I seeing correctly? Is he tuned down a whole step?

I am not a hater nor someone who was somehow Anti-EVH. I can’t point to any weak spot (though they have the charisma of a brick). I just feel bad for all the other bands (with more “right”) that have slaved to be discovered - who have the chops, the stagecraft and the pedigree you get from touring/performing (not the pedigree of birth). Come at me.

Nothing to prove? Thank you for summing it up so succinctly. By virtue of his “pedigree of birth” he has nothing to prove. Every young musician should be hungry to prove themselves and their music.

@@whipsmartchris you mean like opening for gnr and getting nominated for a grammy?
@whipsmartchris2 жыл бұрын
@@aiyaemotionaldamage5544 I thought the goal was to debate with honesty and integrity? 😬 Opening for other BIG BANDS happens one of two ways; a band fights their way to a position where they’ve both earned the spot and must be rewarded with the slot because A) they’re champing at the bit and management must come through (and a package can be created where their presence will spark ticket sales for the older/geriatric established band or B) the record company has so much invested in the new band that they must push/promote the band right out of the gate. No choice. Who gets those kind of rich recording contracts today? No one. Unless there’s a strong outside force that elevates the status and spark of the act that’s disconnected from the music and road readiness. That’s the Van Halen Name and the emotional pull of his father’s untimely death. If EVH was alive and well, EVH would’ve broken Mammoth on his own by virtue of a reunited Van Halen Tour (w M.A., S.H., DLR, even Gary C. if needed). With Eddie deceased the clock was ticking loudly for the record company to break Mammoth quick - before the sorrow/nostalgia began to wain (as it does for every artist lost), the excitement for a band starring EVH’s son wains, too. As for a Grammy Nomination, I don’t need to review the validity of that, right? You know the Awards and the Industry are linked economically. Nominations are quietly arranged to help boost sales and, in turn, more media stories and Grammy viewership. The shorter reply to “What about a Grammy?” is Jethro Tull vs Metallica for Best Metal Recording with Milli Vanilli as a sidecar. Sadly, the Grammy’s went Clown College a couple of decades ago. If you do t believe me, check a winner’s list since 2000 (shiver/douche chills). Peace, MORPHEUSX. PS - Happy Thanksgiving.
