I also compare the differences between the original lure that I have and the newer V2 version. I hope this video is informative!

The wheel is so helpful. I put some glide strips by the wheel to help protect the plastic from getting scraped up. Also, great reviews. Hopefully, we can get you some more subscribers. These are cheap to review.

Great review. I when not paddling slip a trolling motor thru the transducer slot. I built a little bracket that goes into 2 front scupper holes. .fish finder too

Great Review! Thank you! Looking for info/opinions: So, 3 of us are getting our firsr yaks next year. All in our 50s. One has been selected - FF Moken 10.5 for a female friend of mine The other 2 will be for big boys. 6 foot 300 and 6-2 325. 85% of the time will be for rec use on flat calm water w minimal current if any. The other 15% - maybe some stationary fishing - anchored. We want paddle yaks only. Since we need minimum #500 capacity, and reviewed every single yak made, here was our original cut down list: The Lure 13.5 V2 Old Town Sportsman Vanhunks Elite Pro Angler Vibe Sea Ghost 130 Now down to: The Lure and the Sea Ghost After taking hull, seat, and user weight and subtracting it from the max, the Sea Ghost had a lot more usable weight remaing. That being said, take me for example -with the Lure Id have #65 pounds left to reach capacity. Usually id just have a drink cooler, beach towel, and some misc - say a total of #20 And if fishing maybe #30. Will I be stable leisurely paddling, sitting and fishing, just normal yak usage? Or will I be at the water line? We'll be on no rough water, no batteries and alike. Just simple use but need fishing yak for weight. Which would you choose and why? I spec'd everything out that you can but it's gonna be in the 20s next week and trying them anytime soon is not an option....for like 4 or 5 months. Any and all info greatly appreciated. I've actually owned and spent a lot of time in both the Lure and the Sea Ghost. They're really not even comparable. The Lure is heavier, but is waayyy more stable and built with much better quality components. I still regret selling my Lure but don't miss the Sea Ghost at all. That being said, the lightness of the Sea Ghost can be nice at times and it is easier to paddle in high winds or rough water. I'd definitely choose the Lure though as it is really a top tier kayak and the Vibe seems to be more of a mid-to budget level build

Thanks Brother. That's what I needed to hear. Real user feedback. I read comments of guys in 450 & 475 capacity yaks that are heavier than me and they love em. I might be overthinking this big time. Last time I was in a yak was 2010 - an old sit in and I was 60 pounds lighter....LOLOL Age sucks. HA! Thank you very much for your honesty and promt reply. Very, very thankful. Nice review. Most people only mention the weight and don't actually talk about how it is to deal with. Is the seat easily removable? My current kayak is one strap, which is important for my storage purposes.

Thanks for watching! Removing the seat is pretty easy. A little latch in the back and a pair of buckles in the front. A little more difficult than some others, but it's very secure in place, which you definitely want with the heavier adjustable seat like that.

It looks like the transducer is located in the same area as the pedal drive is supposed to go. How does that work?

If you were using the pedal drive you would have to mount the transducer somewhere else.

How well does it paddle? Is it like a barge? Is it fast once you get going?

It paddles pretty well once you get it going and is fairly fast considering the size. It turns well, but once you stop it will catch the current pretty bad and takes some effort to get going up to speed again. It would definitely do better in places that you plan on paddling less than 5-6 miles.

The wheel in the keel don’t help with stable it’s to Wably and I would recommend using 2 wheelbarrow wheels and making your own but the kayak is Alsome

In your opinion witch kayak is beter. Vibe see ghost 130 or feelfree lure 13,5. I must buy kayak and i have dilema

I've had both and the feelfree is a much much better made kayak quality-wise. The vibe is lighter and faster, but unless you plan on doing a lot of long distance paddling I would definitely recommend the feelfree.

@@boban1241989 The feelfree seat is nice because it's so much more adjustable. I would highly recommend the high back upgrade. They come standard on the V2 models. The seat is still comfortable, just not as nice as it looks. A lot of guys like the yak kushions

I got mine used off facebook marketplace. Some dealers have the new ones but I don't who might be around you. Or you could just buy my one that's in the video. I'm upgrading to all pedal drives and have to let it go.
