I got mine about a week ago, got everything set up but haven't taken it out for a spin yet. Taking it out tomorrow morning. Plan to fish in it. This is my first pedal drive. Wish me luck!

Took it out on the lake for about 4 hours. Seat was very comfortable. Kayak was very stable. Peddling was way more comfortable than it looked like in this video haha I think he might have been sitting a little too far back maybe. Speed is decent, but not really faster than paddling with good form, way more fun though. Fishing from it was fine, but with the pedal drive in front of you, you basically store everything behind you, which can be a hassle without attachments. Overall I thought it was very fun to use and would recommend it.

I bought this kayak here in Austin TX yesterday. I'm 5 8" and I had the seat way too far back lol. I was wondering why it was hard to paddle and move. Anyone new to kayaking, move the seat forward so your feet can rest on the slant where the peddle drive bar is connected to the two metal things up front. Since I'm fat it was hard to peddle drive but the point of buying it was so I can lose weight and hopefully when I do the peddling won't be so hard for me. I have no problems with the kayak. It works, does its job. No nitpicking from me.

In your personal opinion between the moken10 pdl or the seastream 125 which would you choose?I’m 5’9 275 and can’t decide between the two. The biggish 108 was in the running hit I think it’s to much boat to car top if I don’t want to bring the truck

ive been watching your channel for years. I went from a hobie passport to a pelican catch pwr to a kaku zulu. I'm a manlet at 5ft6 and weigh 140. I want to downsize in kayak weight and length. is the moken 10 pdl a well built kayak?. most importantly, is the pdl drive more reliable then the Chinese piece of garbage drive I currently have!

Looking at a smaller fishing boat that is easy to car top and this seems like it would be just the ticket. The Big Fish intrigues me too, but at almost 100lbs it seems like bad things could happen lifting that thing, while this I could always just muscle if I had to.

Yea this would be a far better kayak to car top. Those Big Fish are heavy and awkward to car top.

I wish the beaver tail rudder can fold down all the way when not in use, instead it sticks up like that…wonder why they made it that way.

Have you had a chance to try the 12.5 Moken PDL? I’m thinking through the Moken 10 PDL, Moken 12.5 PDL, and the seastream angler 120 PD for fishing. I’m really curious on which one you feel is the most stable and Versatile. The Angler and 10 are both 35 “ wide while the 12 is only 32” wide. I don’t have any shops near me to try before I buy. I’m 5’11 right at 250.

I have the same short list and no local dealer so I'm going by reviews. What did you end up with? The 12.5 PDL is not going to do it for me. Want that 35" width. The 10 vs 120, SS has storage but added length, weight, no hull access. I'm 6-0 220.

It would have been better if FeelFree just made a pedal drive to fit the Moken V2. Also if you ask me the kayak looks to have no room if you are gonna be fishing on it.

I might not have been the best person show off this boat. After a broken femur and a dislocated hip, I have a pretty funky gait. But despite that I did not find it uncomfortable to pedal. I am looking forward to trying the 12.5 PDL. I think that would be the better boat for me. The 10 would be great for anyone with a shorter inseam that doesn't walk like John Wayne....

They we’re sitting just a tad too far back in my opinion. But it is actually pretty comfortable to pedal prop drives, it does look super funky though

I bought one in March. I would have to disagree with you. There are many areas this kayak falls short but the most important and reason I bought this budget pedal is the pedal drive. It's terrible, loud and clunky. I would not recommend this kayak and regret my purchase. I will have to wait and see if feel free comes out with an upgraded pedal drive for this kayak.
