Greeting Constellation faithful, and welcome back to your favorite LSM conversational podcast! This week, Lord Cognito wants to know how we recover when we're feeling under the weather. Which rituals and remedies tend to cure and comfort us whenever we're down for the count? Next, Micah takes us on a pleasant stroll down to the mailbox as we reflect on our favorite magazines, past and present. The landscape for periodicals has changed drastically over the last couple of decades, but which defunct magazines do we miss the most, and which of those remaining zines could be next up for extinction? The jet-setting Gene Park is no stranger to travel, and he always remembers to pack his toothbrush and an engaging topic for conversation. This time Mr. Park would like us to discuss the planes, trains, automobiles, helicopters, horses (and unicycles) that get us from Point A to Point B. Finally, Dagan invites the gang into his dojo for a little martial arts action! Four brave warriors take to the matte in order to discuss everything from our practical experience with combat sports to our pop culture martials arts favorites in film, TV, anime and games. And don't worry, of course we talk about ninjas!

I love how often books come up on this show. I got back into reading books a couple years ago, after going decades without being into them. It's probably one of the best things I've done in the last 5 years. You forget what an incredible experience reading a great book is. On it's own level compared to any other medium.

Dagan back with some crazy relatable stress talk. I've been stressed the past year since my daughter has been born, just working a job I hate just to keep food on the table. Lately I've been feeling so stressed its almost like my body is shutting down and I just want to sleep. But I must carry on! Thinking of my baby girl and fiance give me the strength I need to get by. I just can't wait for when I'm doing good instead of getting by 😂

Anyone planning on watching some Denzel Washington classics, don't forget about Fallen, The Siege and Virtuosity... The first 2 are his best work of the 90s, imo, and Virtuosity is so bad it's kinda good. 😂

Dagan, if you see this, I had a very similar first car experience to your daughter when I turned 16. My dad got a Mercedes sedan in 2006, and when I was going to turn 16 (2012) he was going to pass that on to me and get a new car. But when it came time he didn’t really want to give me an expensive German car. And luckily my grandmother stepped in since she wasn’t really driving anymore, and gave me her 2004 Toyota Avalon with only 20k miles on it. At first I was kinda bummed, but then that car treated me very well, never had any maintenance issues, and was perfect for a 16 year old. Since then I’ve had an Audi A4 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee (all used) and that Toyota is still the best car I’ve ever had and I’d take it back in a heartbeat. My next car will definitely be in the Toyota family.

Dagan is truly a great podcaster! He has gotten so much better since the start of Constellation. He asks good questions and I love how you can tell he genuinely listens to whoever is talking with care and interest. I want Colin and Dagan to stay on Constellation.

No Colin, no listen. Period. I think it’s time that us people who are here because Colin is the founder of the company speak up to drown out the 3 people who think it’s better without him. If we dont, Colin will turn into Greg who took a giant step back from KF, and now their content suffers. Colin, we like everyone else in the sphere; but this company is about you, and you are the draw. Dont take a step back, or you’ll risk it all.

For Micah, if you enjoy flat soda, I would suggest buying the Sodastream bottles of syrup (they offer Pepsi product flavors now as well). Just mix it with some plain water. No need to buy all there extra equipment to carbonate the water. This would be so much cheaper than buying cans of soda, and you wouldn't need to wait for it to lose it's carbonation.

👏 👏 YES!!!! Once in awhile is fine but for the love of God don’t make it a common thing. I used to love the GameOverGreggy Show. Guess what happened when Colin left that show? I and MANY others stopped watching. They needed someone who was so different to be on the show. Without Colin, the podcast became generic. I don’t want that to happen to Constellation.

@@barbecuegamer2738Any poll will always have Colin participation winning, that doesn't make it automatically the right thing, if they made a poll asking if Colin should join Punching Up Yes would win that too. There's no reason why he can't rotate in and out and allow for the other line ups, he's got a strong screen presense and sorta dominates in time spoke most shows. He's obvious the lead of LSM still and it's not like he's disappearing.

I don't need him on Constellation permanently. I love to see more of the others. If he has a good topic and wants to join, by all means show up. I'd rather see Micah be a permanent second chair if there had to be one, but I understand she gets busy too.

I’m serious, those high level matches are incredible to watch and there’s no blood or anything, it’s a very cool sport. I have a feeling you and Colin both might dig it.

I loved A Conversation With Colin. So yes, I would prefer if Colin stays on the only conversational podcast LSM has.

Colin is getting lazy it seems. His reasoning for stopping 2 SS+ 2 times a week was that Brad was coming on, so we lost 1 show with Colin on it. He said he’d still be on constellation, but not anymore. So now we only have Colin in 2 of the shows per week now, and this is his company! It seems like he’s taking the Greg Miller approach of letting everyone else run the content and it killed KF.

@@JustinLatham entitled? I pay for the content. Of course I’m entitled to it if that’s what I paid for and was promised when I started paying. When I paid I was promised 2 SS+ episodes per week, plus SS, and knockback/constellation. All with Colin in them. Now I only get Colin 2 times a week. 5-2 = 3 for you simple minded such as yourself, so to break it down I lost 3 Colin shows since the change.

I for one an more than happy with Colin no longer being full time on a show that doesn't require any sort of Playstation knowledge. Great show, and consider that those complaining might be fans of Colin rather than LSM.

I like your last sentence.. it's a big difference. I can understand, as Colin is why I found out about LSM.. but he's definitely not the only reason I'm still here. I've grown to enjoy everyone at LSM. I truly don't understand how one listens to Constellation only for Colin.

@@Tatman2TheResQit was the same when Chris got brought on, and then Dustin too, there's always a portion of the audience put off when Colin isn't the sole feature, but that's not who LSM should be listening to. It's not COLINS' Last Stand anymore and IMO it's so much better for it.

Listening to Dagan talk about getting sick from stress and anxiety and literally not being able to be there for his wife when she gives birth, or his wife having to manage their family for days every time something stressful happens and not ironically saying the answer is to drink lots of water has me baffled. My feeling better regime. Prevention: Vitamin D3 4000IU with 100au Vitamin K2 (combined together in one pill, 3-4times a week). Lot's of studies that show Vitamin D3 is vital for our immune systems and overall health. Then as soon as I think I have either caught someone's cold or have initial symptoms: -I take a combo supplement of 1200mg vitamin C with 40mg of Zinc for 3 days straight. -Strepsil max strength throat drops, not just the ones that numb the throat, but the ones that have a mild anti-septic in them. -Dril some warm lemon/honey and green tea -Drink water -Minimise sugar/carbs and eat colorful and protein/good fats rich fresh food -Get good sleep and rest After this I usually clear most symptoms within 48hour and the cold is just minor and isn't too much of a bother. I think this works a lot better at addressing the issue by giving your body the tools to fight off the virus or whatever.

Also follow an anti-American diet which is one of the worst diets in the world. Follow the Mediterranean diet North Indian diet, Thai diet, Japanese diet, Okinawan diet.
