We all have felt like an OUTSIDER at some point in our lives. Whether is in a group of people, a place, or even in our own family or country.
We, humans, have a deep need to feel like we belong to something, be part of something meaningful, and when we don't get to feel that or try to pursue it without optimal results, we feel like outcasts and "weird" individuals. But we shouldn't.
If You FEEL like an OUTSIDER WATCH THIS, you will see our journey identifying what are the things that make us feel like we belong. Maria and I have different views and motivations for this needed feeling.

@@TheMamuchos Belonging is about safety and acceptance, feeling like you are with a healthy family. I live in the US and I don't feel safe. Between the religious fundamentalists, the white supremacists, and all the crazy guns, it's not possible to feel safe. Plus, if you get sick, you are financially bankrupt unless you are very well off. I'm thinking of retiring in Spain in a few years🙂

I am like Maria, love the comfort zone! And Lieles, I still work on that part. I want to borrow Maya Angelou’s quote “You only are free when you realize you belong no place - you belong every place- no place at all. The price is high. The reward is great.” Am still working on this!

At least Liles didn’t get sucked in by the water. Maria’s excitement about being back home is pretty cool. The shots you got there is so cool. Love how you guys are getting creative with your title overlays. I’m taking notes. I have never heard of pee and skate before 😂. I’m very similar to Maria, I just remember all the positives for all the places I have lived. Liles throwback bball photo was classic. More throwback photos please. With me moving so much, being an outsider is the norm.

I like Lieles' voice! yo should do voice over for commercials also yeah, when you don't really like the surroundings and people you don't feel like home even if that's your birthplace . I feel like home with my boyfriend wherever we are and of course in my fav country, Turkey

Nabol remember playing on the train tracks too 😂 We had the same impression of Galicia before we went. We feel like outsiders in a lot of places we go but we’re ok with that too.

Yes, I must have been 5 or so...maybe 7 hahaha When I was a child there wasn't much in the town, it has always been a small humble town with a bad reputation actually hahah Maybe, next year, I am able to show you places where I was as an adult and grew as a professional and then I can show you some of my fave spots More to come for sure! She just turned 1 year in July. She's huge indeed. Unfortunately, she is sick now, so she's losing some weight, hope to get her back on track to dinosaur size soon

Thank you so much, Jordi! Totally understand the feeling, especially after being in other countries for so long. I love Spain for many reasons, but I can't see myself living permanently here. It is a weird contradiction because now that we are about to leave, I am sad to leave, but again, the thought of living here is not something that I can get around. Thank you for sharing
